Problem statement
How can the reporting capabilities be established, that enable both DPHI Staff, Councils and Certifiers to generate, access, and produce comprehensive insights using application and planning data captured within the NSW Planning Portal?
Scope
This will involve exploring factors such as:
- Improving external users’ ability to identify delays, improve the delivery of their services and use data to guide decision making.
- Creating high-quality datasets to help councils and the Department forecast future demand and explore opportunities for new services.
- Reducing the need for manual reporting.
- Ensuring data collected through the NSW Planning Portal is used to its full potential.
