- the data centre makes a significant environmental impact to areas well outside of industrial zone in Lane Cove. The noise is heard 2km away from the current data centre.

Current acoustic assessment is theoretical only and noise levels at Magdala park are much higher than EPA prescribed levels - the air conditioning units make constant humming noise which is especially heard in North/Easterly winds. After 8pm when the road traffic is little, it becomes a significant nuisance in the area as the only source of noise.
