I have a very big concern about the noise increase from the traffic influx to M7 as a result of M12 motorway traffic flow.
my concern is there are sections in M7 including the one opposite to my place have no noise block like glass wall barriers, the level of current noise is unacceptable over 85 decibels, as you are aware in the standards anything above 80 decibels is considered harmful to the human ears!
So what I am requesting is to make your study of the current noise level to my area especially the section of Clarence Dr & Dobroyd Dr in Elizabeth Hills and estimate the increase in traffic (especially trucks and transport with low frequency noise) and then provide the impact statement due to the increase in traffic to our community with evidence and provide solution
kindly look into the matter and provide funding to install the glass wall or concrete barriers instead of widening the M7, its simple request, I urge you to consider it prior to approval.
Happy to discuss further.
Regards,
A Daniel

As this off ramp will be on a decline, heavy vehicles will use compression braking as they currently do on the M7. The M7 noise alleviation devices are totally ineffective for this type of noise, especially at night. This new off ramp will be much worse, being elevated high above the suburb.

There was No consultation with me except the day before the release of the amended report being released which was a short call to tell me my property was ear marked in the report.
My property has been listed as rural/residential, but we just don't reside here, we breed quarter horses and the whole of the property is used for this. Also my partner has been diagnosed with terminal cancer which may cause us to move. This lease will create undue stress on myself and partner should I have to try and sell as this area of Lot 33 Sec A, DP2566 forms one lot which is included with Lot 32, Sec A and would be difficult to sell. I have studied the plan and there would be other suitable areas such as the north east boundary of AF13 and possibly the ancillary facility as per the EIS AF5
