1. The current Stadium has been filled to capacity on very few occasions since it was built, why are we building a bigger stadium? My objection is the current stadium should be retained, building a bigger stadium is a waste of taxpayers money.
2. As a result of this bigger stadium, it will see the demolition of Parramatta swimming pool. This pool is a vital community facility, so I object to the stadium being built as it will result in the pool being demolished.

Thank you for notifying Sydney Water of the proposed modification listed above. We have reviewed the proposal and can provide the following comments for your consideration.

Due to the proximity of the proposed development to Sydney Water assets, we recommend that Council imposing the following conditions of consent:

Building Plan Approval
The approved plans must be submitted to the Sydney Water Tap in™ online service to determine whether the development will affect any Sydney Water sewer or water main, stormwater drains and/or easement, and if further requirements need to be met.

The Sydney Water Tap in™ online self-service replaces our Quick Check Agents as of 30 November 2015.

The Tap in™ service provides 24/7 access to a range of services, including:
* building plan approvals
* connection and disconnection approvals
* diagrams
* trade waste approvals
* pressure information
* water meter installations
* pressure boosting and pump approvals
* changes to an existing service or asset, e.g. relocating or moving an asset.

Sydney Water's Tap in™ online service is available at:

REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS AND REMEDIATION

There is an enornomous amount of asbestos to be removed from the site. It will need a lot of remediation. Can Dept of Planning guarentee that there will be no spill into the river or dust going over the neighbourhood.

PILING

The water table is very near the surface. the piling will have to go down to bedrock. It will be as bad as the piling at Harold Park was - noise, dust and long working hours. The hours should be that there is no piling during school hours.

The noise will disturb the grey headed flying foxes. They may well disperse over the surrounding neighbourhood and Parramatta Park. They are a resevoir of Hendra virus. Although bats apparently cannot transmit it to humans, there may be mutant viruses appearing. Will the Dept of Planning test for these.

The noise will disturb the girls at the Mercy Convent, especially those doing the School and Higher School Certificate. Prolonged noise results in children not learning properly.

The vibration will affect the heritage buildings in the Fleet Street Heritage Precinct. Can dept of planning guarentee that the up to 200 year old buildings not be compromised.

The vibration will disturb the reptiles who live in the vicinity, especially the snakes (Brown especially). There is a snake problem in the grounds of Westmead and Cumberland Hospitals. Please check with Dept of Health and verify that they give staff (especially Redbank House) a phone number to ring when they have a snake problem. The survey done by Parramatta Council is superior to that from your consultant. (attached).
CROWN LAND - THE SWIMMING POOL

Please read the attached judgment. Rutledge still stands despite the Baird Government repealing it in 2016. Case law.
