Jobs are needed in the Gloucester area. Those that object aren't looking at the big picture social and economical benefits that local employment provides is fundamental for Gloucester to continue to prosper. Ask yourself this question do you know how many people call Gloucester home and have for many years with young family's that have to leave their family's for weeks at a time to provide for them and miss out on precious family time, because of the lack of local job opportunities. No I didn't think so of those that object to local employment. Have a good hard think about your decisions that affect many young family's.

I object to the Stratford extension because of the risk to the environment and the potential loss of natural habitats and biodiversity, as well as the unacceptable noise, dirt and dust.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to offer my support for this application and the sister project the Rocky hill project. Both projects have extensive criteria that they have to meet, and I feel that this is more than satisfactory meets the safety requirements for the environment and our community needs the jobs and financial boost to our local economy.
Thankyou for your time in reviewing my submission.

I have objected to the proposed Rocky Hill Coal Mine. I object to this application which supports and facilitates the Rocky Hill project. I live within 5 km of the Stratford CHPP and am significantly impacted by intrusive noise. The processing of Rocky Hill ROM coal will exacerbate the noise nuisance.

I object to the Stratford Extension Project Modification 1 (SSD 4966 Mod1)

My reasons for this objection are:
o the haul road across the Stratford Minesite is for the Rocky Hill Coal Project which is a very flawed project and EIS submitted by GRL is totally inadequate
o the village of Stratford will get even more noise and dust and levels of these during Stratford operation are already way too high.
o the people of Stratford are already suffering all kinds of health issues due to the previous operation by Yancoal.

The new proposal will greatly increase all these problems, especially if Yancoal goes back into full operation with their approved extension plus dealing with the added problems caused by Rocky Hill coal being processed at Stratford.

I have objected to the proposed Rocky Hill Coal Project and I am therefore objecting to this application which is intended to support and facilitate the Rocky Hill Coal Project.

As I stated then I live in the Manning Valley and have friends in Gloucester whom I visit regularly. I object to the proposed mine because it is too close to the town and will have intolerable noise, dust and visual amenity impacts upon the established residents within the Gloucester Valley."
