Modification Application R4A (SSD6964-Mod-1) and R4B (SSD6965-Mod-1)
Thank you for your notification dated 29 October 2019 regarding the proposed modifications.
While we have had limited time to review all details of each modification, in principal we have no objections.
We note that the Development Consents for Building R4A and Building R4B dated 7 September 2017 (Part D During Construction) limits the hours of construction to between 7am and 7pm, Mondays to Fridays and 7am and 5pm Saturdays.
We again implore the Department to ensure that the approved hours of construction are adhered to and that any allowed works undertaken outside these hours use low-noise equipment, noise reduction barriers, curtains and attenuating devices to minimise disturbances to the community.
We have for the second time this year suffered sleep deprivation because of overnight low frequency noise from the use of de-watering pumps on the One Sydney Harbour site.
