There is a huge privacy concern now that there are southern facing windows on the Western tower. These windows will look directly into the north-western apartments of the Deicota building located at 157 Redfern Street. The original plans did not have any southern facing windows and these revised plans have many bedroom, living room and kitchen windows staring straight into the bedrooms and living rooms of the Deicota building.

The modification request to put windows on the southern side of the western tower must be denied. As a minimum, a condition should be imposed requiring the windows to be frosted glass. Louvers are not enough to ensure privacy between residence in the opposing buildings.
