I do not agree with the proposed application as the quantities and classes of dangerous goods have been determined for a reason, and the proposed modifications to these quantities proposes an unnecessary to our community. It can only be assumed that the quantities and classes of dangerous goods have been determined by careful consideration and research, and changes to these can be potentially hazardous. It is my opinion that the safety of the community should be the paramount consideration and any project that jeopardises the community's safety/ health is simply not worth the risk.

I wish to place a submission regarding the current exhibition as per our conversation today 9.5.24 the allowing of increased height is totally wrong as it us against current planning laws in liverpool council area and cannot be justified as the planning for the Woolworth site ignores many problems existing in the area and the current traffic congestion is always ignored and any upgrades will cost many billions also it will create enormous health risks for local residents also the increased level of dangerous goods will pose e enormous risks to local residents as the area suffers from extreme temperate degrees as the areas have no trees and the surfaces have much higher temperatures as their is no cover in a very exposed areas and 38 degrees in the residential area would be at least 6 degrees higher in the subject warehouses which cannot be proper justice for local residents. Kind regards John anderson president raid moorebank

Liverpool city suffers enough from traffic congestion Any more trucks carying hazardize materials will result in total grid lock. More the intermodel to a country area. There are too many trucks already
Residents are living in Wattle Grove it was developed as a residental area not for warehousing or industry
Any accidents with dangerous goods would impact Wattle Grove residents and traffic on the M5 and Liverpool traffic

This process is one of creeping modifications which amount to a subversion of original intent in regard to the MPW site, and create a substantial quantitive change in terms of storage of dangerous goods on the site. I object to the modifications, and so should the NSW State Government, for the fundamental reason of protecting the lives of residents of one of its major population centres.
The major risk to the development is considered to be a rare major fire, which has the potential to impact beyond the boundaries, and presumably affect nearby properties such as the Leacock Regional Park, and also Glenfield Farm, but that is considered OK. It is not OK, particularly when the chemical plume could travel right across densely populated suburbs.
I further ask planners to consider a situation in which the possibilities of conflict in our region have increased sharply, due to international political developments which I assume I do not need to list. Quite possibly, Australia could face the presence of enemies within, and the development of potential terrorist actions. In the case of MPW, a nicely packaged pair of warehouses full of dangerous and explosive goods sited extremely close to one of the major cities of Sydney (Liverpool) could potentially be viewed as a gift. A boom gate, a few civilian patrols, and there it is. And it is located on the South Sydney Freight Line.
Could planners please connect the dots. I do not think that believing that such a thing could not happen here really covers the needs of planning in 2024.
