There is a need for this project to go ahead. For local businesses and employment. Many of the local townships and village's are struggling and many residents are traveling out of the state for employment. Help the smaller community's survive.

My family and I wish to support Coalpacs application to open cut mine. The mine closing has effected our family drastically I'm now living and working away from home making time with my family hard to come by. If this move doesn't go ahead we will need to relocate.

I support the mine extension Ithat Invinceable are requesting.
I may not live in the area anymore. But all of my family and friends do. I have seen the impact first hand on the workers who lost their jobs because of the environmental groups .
Yes our environment is important, but so is people and towns lively hoods.
We should be doing everything to protect our local communities, but this isn't happening.
I hope everyone in these areas support this extension, as the environments will be very minimum compared to the human and town impact if it doesn't.

I strongly support this project. Many of the employees who were made redundant due to the mines closure have had to seek employment out of the area and continue to be seperated from their families. It is also important to the local businesses who have been affected and to the community as a whole. This region has always relied on mining and continues to do so for its survival.

The bristly Helmet orchid exist in the mining zone. It's a very rate plant Bird life will suffer as trees are used. If the Hunter region is an indicator of mining practise, I object to the area being mined. Greed over nature. I feel my little comment will not make a difference as industry wins everytime.
Cheers.

I object to the modifications to the Invincible and Cullen Valley coal mines. They will: destroy unique biodiversity, including a Grassy Box Woodland, threaten internationally recognised pagodas by ignoring the 300m buffer recommended by PAC, increase morbidity and mortality in Cullen Bullen from respiratory and cardiovascular disease linked to dust. Protect Gardens of Stone!

I used to reside in the Upper Hunter region and sadly had to relocate due to respiratory ailments from the silica and coal dust.

Yours sincerely,

As a young person living in Lithgow I had the pleasure of walking & exploring throughout this area as a scout and bushwalker.
It will be a great shame if the area is destroyed for future generations to enjpoy for the sake of extracting coal from the place.
Surely there is plenty of coal avalable withot destroying these great natural formations

I object to the modifications to the Invincible and Cullen Valley coal mines. They will -

1. destroy unique biodiversity, including a Grassy Box Woodland,

2. threaten internationally recognised pagodas by ignoring the 300 metre buffer recommended by PAC,

3. increase morbidity and mortality in Cullen Bullen from respiratory and cardiovascular disease linked to dust.

This area is incredibly unique and should be considered as such. I am surprised that it is not World Heritage. Please do not allow any mining in this very special area or close to it as mining will undoubtedly have an impact.

Thank you for your time.

I have seen in other countries the devastating effect on the biodiversity on what was once an incredible forest. As a tourist who values visiting untouched places I was horrified to watch it all being destroyed and the land scared. Please don't let that happen here for the sake of short term monetary accumulation we will be loosing a far greater asset for the people of this land for many future generations. A mine extension is not needed nor is it in the public interest.

We need jobs in this area everyone is sick of the bullshit from these greens parties are going on about most of them from the lower mountains that doesn't impact them all the land gets put back to how it was prior to it being mined and one of the main people carrying on about how bad the open cut is lives in Cullen bullen he was a coal miner himself and was turned down for a job because of his previous record Cullen bullen is nothing without these open cuts may aswel open cut the whole lot!!!!!!

I'm hoping to make my submission count given that I and my family have been directly affected by the shut down of Invicible colliery and forced redundancies made by my previous employer.
Myself and many of my co workers have been forced to either relocate or work away from our families.
We haven't been the only site or organisation in our area made completely redundant. Our town is losing businesses left right and centre because of this downturn in what is a mining town, and the towns built around the mines like Cullen Bullen.
The residents of Cullen Bullen are putting up a fight against something so essential not just to provide their power but essential to their local economy and employment alike.
