Thank you for the opportunity of providing response. ANL has major
concerns regarding the additional huge numbers of trucks that will be
needed to transport inwards and outwards from the proposed site.
Martin Road currently is in a major state of disrepair and will need a
complete rebuild and possible widening.
The existing intersection on Martin Road and Elizabeth Drive will not
cope with the proposed truck numbers. The letter we received lists
dispatch of 275,000 tonnes p.a and 252,000 tonnes of bricks pa as well
as the input of 20,000 tonnes plus staff and service vehicles. Martin
Road can't cope with these truck numbers, 400 trucks movements a day
would would create major intersection delays at Elizabeth Drive. This
intersection will require lights, left hand turns and major upgrades
to cope.
ANL and the other land owners in Martin Road have major concerns. We
seek a commitment from your department to communicate all aspects of
this proposal to ANL regarding our legitimate concerns regarding truck
traffic.

Hi,

I live next door to this site and i have a concern with the water
discharged from the development site. In the past when Boral owned the
site water would be discharged into the big dam next door to me. As
the time it seemed to be contaminated and i raised this with boral and
Liverpool council. The water would then spill over and enter my
property. I dont want any discharge entering my property. I also have
a concern with the amount of truck movements particularly on the
weekends saturday and sundays. I object to the amount of truck
movements on weekends. Also the dust is a concern as my wife has a
respiratory condition.
Thanks
