This application should not be allowed to proceed. There was overwhelming
objection to the proposal for an EFW facility at the site and the same
objections apply to this proposal also.
The business has a track record of non compliance, 24hr operation will
leave no respite to traffic movement and will increase congestion and
road damage, increased noise levels will cause disruption to residents
in Minchinbury and Erskine Pk and other surrounding suburbs
(particularly carrying at night). Increased operation will also cause
increased pollution from the facility in their storage and landfill of
waste along with their processing of materials.
How can this proposal be allowed when the same principals of the
rejected EFW facility apply. To allow this to go ahead would be at the
detriment of local families.

I am opposed to this site becoming a 24/7 operation. I am concerned for
the added, truck movements, noise and pullution to the area.

I still strongly object the proposed "Genesis Waste Management Facility
Modification 6 (MP 06_0139 MOD 6)" application as issues are not
addressed properly. Could I please also request Department of Planning
to conduct their own internal assessment to ensure that concerns
raised by residents are addressed clearly. Additionally I request
Department of Planning to adopt a policy banning all future similar
projects close to residential area.

Submission
I object the proposed development due to following critical reasons;

1.The proposed site is very close to residential area.
2.Noise pollution will increase and could cause long term medical
conditions.
4.The release of chemical odours from the site will make the living
conditions unbearable and unhealthy for us and also for the
surrounding residents and the environment.
5.I have two sick children in the house, my daughter is asthmatic.
This development has the potential to cause long term harm to her
asthma.
6.The value of our residential property will go down causing enormous
financial loss.

There will be a negative impact re traffic and noise due to the increased
capacity.

Should the project proceed, the implementation of an additional road
into and out of the estate should be considered due to increased
capacity. The current infrastructure already struggles.

This is a disgrace the smell and noise are already bad enough please
knock this on the head. The owner is doing this because his
incinerator wasn't approved

I don't want an incinerator this close to my home I don't want to breath
toxic fumes or my children. We already have enough pollution from the
motorway we don't need an incinerator as well. Also it will be
impossible to monitor what is going into the incinerator. The guy who
wants to build it can't be trusted as he has had multiple fines in the
past. This guy is all about money not about our environment or our
health.

I would like to object to any increase of hours site operations to 24
hours, increase the direct-to-landfill waste volume and amend the
noise limits for the site.

This will just be a nuisance rather than an asset to the community. We
have 12 years to reverse any deadly damage done from climate change;
and we have to do something NOW.

The application to run the waste site for 24 hours must be refused. There
will be increased traffic, noise and waste odours.
The waste site is within a few kilometres of residential areas and an
increase in the operating hours will have a very negative effect on
the surrounding area and near by residential areas.

I object to this on a number of points.
I currently have to put up with increased noise level at my
residential address due to the widening of the M4 corridor, now there
is a likelihood of me having to put up with additional noise levels
beyond this work being completed, no thank you.
Minchinbury residents already suffers periodic periods of noxious
odours, presumably influenced by weather conditions.
I regularly commute along Wallgrove Road, & many of the waste
recycling trucks use the Wonderland Drive turning. At peak times this
level of traffic is extremely hazardous, as many of the trucks, exit
Wonderland Drive heading north & then need to queue to turn at the M4
intersection to head into Sydney. To have the hours extended,
pollution from trucks, rubbish odours 24 hours a day is just not on.
You may as well as site an EPA office outside the gates to monitor
these cowboys!
Western Sydney is not Sydney's dumping ground!
How many more waste & recycling facilities would you like to put
there? Minchinbury & Erskine Park are almost surrounded by these
facilities.

As a resident of Minchinbury I have great concerns if this proposal was
to go ahead.

Increasing their amount of land fill waste and operation time to 24
hours will impact near by residents in a negative way.

Not only will it increase pollution but there will be an increase of
noise with trucks in the area.

These trucks will be driving 24/7 down Archbold Rd which is a
residential area.

I have been living in a quiet street in Minchinbury for 14 years, I do
not want to hear on going trucks driving past my house day and night.

This organization needs to realize the impact they have on the
community, causing great concerns to people and their families.

I strongly object to this proposal. We live in an isolated housing estate
that was here before the surrounding businesses. This dump is already
very loud and messy for our area. To have it increased would be
devastating. The owner has already proven to not always follow safety
concerns and what systems have changed to ensure he is not realeasing
further toxins into the air. It is very close proximity to a school
and child care services which is putting them further at risk of
respiratory complaints.

There is no noise or air filters at the site and what steps will be
made to ensure the owner is following all requirements. There is no
trust with this owner and the local community. What do they give back,
nothing but negative issues.

We are not Sydney's dumping ground, please do not allow more debris and

the tip on most days already from my home in Erskine Park. We do not
want this in our backyard.

I oppose this application to increase the amount of rubbish accepted at
the facility. As a local resident who is often greeted with the putrid
stench on a warm or hot morning I have zero interest in that
increasing! We are already battling increased traffic on our main
roads which our infrastructure cannot comfortably support. A larger 24
hour dumping ground has no place in our community.

We have already reached the national standard for air pollution and you
want more rubbish to be dumped out this way there are hundreds of
thousands of families that live out here with small children find
somewhere else to put your rubbish not in our backyard.

I totally object to the application from Genesis Waste Management
Facility to operate for 24 hours periods. This waste facility is way
too close to residential areas to operate non stop for a 24 hours.
The other issues are -
The roads around the waste facility are already very congested and
parts in need of repair. The extra hours of receiving waste will
further congest the roads and damage them.
The noise levels from extra trucks and waste processing will increase
and greatly disturb the residential areas particularly in the early
morning hours.
There must be a down period where the waste facility does not receive
waste or process waste, so the smell of waste can disperse and
decrease.
