RE: Proposed Plasrefine Plastics Recycling Facility 74-76 Beaconsfield Rd Moss Vale NSW 2577
 SSD Application No – 9409987

I am writing in OPPOSITION to the above project.

I live in Glenquarry which is down wind of this project. I have lived here for 65 years and I know what the westerly winds can bring- from cement dust from New
Berrima to coal dust from the Southern Line. I do not wanttoxic pollution from this stack blowing my way.

I have been a community representative on the Catchment Management committee and I understand concerns about pollution or the Drinking Water Catchment.
This project does not present a neutral or beneficial effect, let alone define its consumption of our finite water supply.

I understand that similar facilities in Europe have failed their major purpose by creating more pollution than the plastic itself.
This company has no experience and promotes untried processes that do not display the “Precautionary Principle”

If it proceeds it does not display ‘Inter-generational Equity” due to the pollution of the environment.

The DCP does not permit this development in the ‘buffer” zone and it is illegal to remove the Threatened Species: Eucalyptus macarthurii

The noise, dust and danger of increased truck traffic, the DCP, the scale of and effect of this project does not conform with the shire’s ‘Clean, Green and Quiet” objective.

It seems the totally wrong location, surely an industrial site is the only place, if it is needed at all.
