I do not think that native animal habitat should be cleared for the generation of electricity.
No one should be allowed to destroy our environment to build privately owned, for profit, wind farms.
Put them in Sydney Harbour, or on the beaches of cliffs near where the people who want wind and solar have to live near them.

The construction of this project will destroy native wildlife and their habitat.
The once scenic views will be obliterated by these ugly structures and their continued maintenance.
How are the turbines and battery energy storage systems recycled at their lifespan.
Will they be buried on site ?
What is the plan ? or is the region going to become a toxic rubbish dump.

Please stop this destruction of the environment and endangered plant and animal species.
The beauty of this district will soon be blighted by the visual impacts of these ugly monstrosities and the destruction involved to create them.

Critically endangered species such as the Plains Wanderer will be wiped out if this project is approved.
The greed for money is blinding government and investors to the impact that these ugly monstrosities will have on our native environment.

Firstly, it is worth noting that the Pottinger Wind Farm stands out as one of the few Australian-owned projects in the SW-REZ. This ownership structure ensures that the economic benefits and decision-making processes remain within our country, bolstering national interests and supporting local industry capabilities.
Moreover, the project’s partnership with local Australian farming families to host the wind farm exemplifies a commendable model of collaboration. By working directly with these families, the Pottinger Wind Farm not only provides them with additional revenue streams but also integrates renewable energy infrastructure seamlessly into the agricultural landscape.
The Pottinger Wind Farm has also established a strong social license within the community. This project has engaged with local stakeholders transparently and respectfully, addressing concerns and incorporating feedback. This community-centric approach has fostered a positive and supportive relationship with residents, ensuring that the wind farm is viewed as a valued member of the community.
Furthermore, the benefits of the Pottinger Wind Farm extend beyond renewable energy production. It plays a crucial role in supporting regional communities by creating local jobs, stimulating economic growth, and contributing to regional development initiatives. These benefits help to enhance the resilience and sustainability of our rural areas.
In summary, the Pottinger Wind Farm is an exemplary project that not only contributes to our renewable energy targets but also strengthens local communities and supports Australian ownership. I strongly urge you to consider the positive impacts of this project and to support its continued development.
Kind regards,
Natalie.

This are consists of lakes, creeks and native endangered flora and fauna.
An example of this is the critically endangered Plains Wanderer.
The native habitat is being wiped out in the district without any thought for the future of native wildlife and plants.

This project is backed by an Australian-owned consortium who has done significant community liaison work. It will greatly enhance the local area as well as providing much needed additional income to the farming families who are hosting the project.
