This project is vital to continue supporting our economy as well as jobs in the area. HVO has proven they are working hard to do their best with rehabilitation and environmental protection. This project will be positive for the hunter valley.

The benefit to the local and state economy are massive, this project should go ahead.

Project is important to me and the company I work for to keep my job and support my family.

As a few coal mines are slated to close in the Hunter valley in the coming years, it's important to ensure current operations are able to continue generating royalties, corporations tax, income tax and employment for the region. Not approving this project will reduce government income, increase the jobless rate and have negative effects on local businesses.

I support this project as Hvo both directly and indirectly employs many people in the region. It is a real draw card for mining in NSW and I know personally that hvo takes safety, community and environment very seriously. This expansion is crucial to mine and a lot of my friends and families future.

I support this project and the benefits it will bring to the community.

Keeps people in the area of HVO in a secure job and the company can bring on traineeships and apprenticeship programs that’ll help the future’s society.

The continuation of this project is detrimental to hundreds of families and myself as an employee of HVO. The project brings in a huge amount of wealth and support to the communities and I believe the project should be extended.
