I have 4 kids who I plan to raise in thos community. Without hvo and other mines in this area there would be no such community. Hvo north has provided me and my family this opportunity since 2016. And through this time I have seen constant projects and events around the area provided or sponsored by this mine.

I support the project for the future of our children and local communities.

This extension will keep many local jobs and provide an opportunity to train more apprentices as we transition away from fossil fuels, helping to build a skilled workforce for future industries.

It would be good if this stayed open as coal is nice

I believe the mining lease should be extended at hvo north because it provides a great boost to the economy with jobs and mining royalties. It will also ease the pressure on switching to renewable resources and give workers time to reskill in other areas if needed while still bringing in an income for their families

Coal mining is an integral part the the hunter valley work force and economy. HVO offers assured power supply as we transition to sustainable energy.

HVO is a great contributor to the local communities in the hunter valley and provides a huge number jobs within the business and for the ancillary providers.

HVO will provide consistent employment for a long time to come if approved. They have developed a detailed rehabilitation plan and the lemington road upgrade will provide a consistent access for local residences currently not provided.

This a must for the Hunter valley and it’s residents.
