Will provide financial support for me and my family

Good things are coming from HVO, for the mine itself, the workforce, environment and community so its a no brainer to approve this project extension. This will provide job security and allow younger workers such as myself to see out our careers here at hvo until we retire which no other mine has, HVO is giving back to the community so its all about give and take and I truly believe coal mining isn’t a bad thing because we are the prime source of electricity.

1:Provides & will continue our export/trade for our country
2: Employment as well as all the supporting businesses for Australians!
3: We need coal to turn our lights on - we cannot rely wholly on wind or solar technologies.
4: Invest in clean coal technology to keep our country afloat!

I support the project due to the employment opportunities it provides to many local families. I am also highly supportive of the economic benefits it provides to both local, state and federal economies.

I am a firm believer of supporting the Hunter valley operations project , not only the jobs they create for the Hunter valley and abroad but the commitment that they offer to the local and surrounding communities is second to none.

I have lived locally my whole life. My family has been local for generations. For generations our family has worked in the coal mines. Our local economy depends on the mines. In our area people either work in the mines or are associated with the mines in some way.
I currently work for hunter Valley Operations and I would like to retire here.

I support this project as the current employee of hvo . This project is important to me as it supports mine and my families livelihood, we have just purchased our first home in the local area and are relying on my income to keep a roof over our head.

A large percentage of people i know gain employment from the local mining industry. Being an Aboriginal i care for and respect the land and what ive seen of Glencore, they look after the land better than any other coal mine that i seen.

I currently work for HVO. Working for the company has provided me the opportunity to begin building a house in the Hunter Valley and will soon be able to begin planning to start a family with my partner. Without the job security HVO provides me. I would not be in the position I am. The Hunter Valley needs this approval more now then ever, given the uncertain energy climate, cost of living crisis and potential recession. The livelihoods HVO support both inside the mine and the money that flows out into the local community are needed more then ever.
