This event supports, jobs, local business, economic benefits, social value of festivals, successful events, supporting the creative industries.

I support Splendour in the Grass wholeheartedly and know they run a very well organised event and would like to see them have extended the time on the North Parklands site. Fully support them.

If events cannot take place at North Byron Parklands, my income and livelihood will be seriously impacted

I believe it is vital that Byron Bay Parklands continues to operate as the world class live music and event venue it has become. It contributes significantly to our community in terms of culturem jobs and the economy.

I have property myself in Bangalow and as a future resident in the Byron Shire I see this as such a positive event to create jobs and support local business. The economic benefits & social value of festivals to continue supporting the creative industries in the area, is a must. The years to make this venue to the high standard it is today, should be congratulated to all involved, what a waste for it not to continue.

I support this application - working within the events field, Falls and Splendour provide countless job opportunities, not just at the event but obviously in the lead up to and post event. It provides local economic benefits through increased visitation, use of local suppliers etc. Festivals such as Falls and Splendour need to be in existence to support creative industries and provide platforms for new and well established, local and international artists to show their work. With decreasing live music venues all over, younger and future generations need festivals to be exposed to live music and international artists. I sincerely hope that the application is approved and Falls and Splendour continue for many years to come.

As a local resident I support extension of trial period. The events brings revenue to the local economy & I have not been inconvenienced or had my lifestyle impacted negatively by the events held at the site.

Please keep music festivals at the parklands

I think the ability to continue events at such an incredible site is crucial for our community and the tourist industry that supports the region.
