Totally disgusted that this type of development is even being considered now with many young & old families living in such close proximity to this proposed site; not to mention that fact that it is situated on the river bank of Georges River which itself is an environmentally sensitive area. Knock this proposal on the head once and for all finally please.

I am totally, absolutely, 100 percent against the granting of any extension period to the lapse of the date of consent.
No, no, no, no, no, no way, impossible, absolutely never, definitely not to ANY extension of time. NOT even 5 minute extension. I would only grant the 5 year extension if every resident of Georges Fair was paid $5,000,000 compensation for this dust spewing, noise generating, environmental eyesore of a project going ahead. It is wrong on the grounds of adverse human impacts, negative impacts to the environment & just morally wrong.

The Department can not entertain the proposed modification. Within the next five years Moorebank will even more populated by young families who will be impacted by the noise and dust from this monstrosity. The people of Moorebank and surrounding areas deserve the respect of the NSW Government and should be considered the priority above any request from the Recyclers.
Our community deserves an outcome to be made and anything less than declining the approval within this calendar year will be considered negligent by our community and we will continue action against the recyclers as well as the NSW Government..

I object the waste facilities to be built close to our community. This will bring bad impact for our neighbourhood. Not safe for the kids and families who lives in the surrounded area.
Please do not let this to proceeds.

I vehemently oppose an extension for Moorebank Recyclers proposed development of a Recycling Facility 260 metres from my family home and it's wonderful community and bushland. Having already lived through four years of stress and worry about the possibility of this completely inappropriate development along a river, in bushland and amongst thousands of new residential homes, my family and especially my children are constantly living with the upsetting prospect that the Department of Planning believe this is appropriate. Moorebank Recyclers have had numerous opportunities and plenty of time in which to progress their ridiculous proposal, so why Shoukd they be provided more time to cause even greater stress to the local community. At the very basis, if they have been unable to commit to their proposal within the legally allowable timeframe then their professionalism and assurances that they will meet stringent environmental requirements for the proposed site should be called to question. If Moorebank Recyclers can't meet the original timeline then the proposal should be quashed.

I am appalled that the concerns of the local residents have once again been ignored by Concrete Recyclers and the Department of Planning. To suggest that a 5 year extension will have no impact on the area or residents is just another slap in the face. It most certainly has an impact; it creates an even greater level of uncertainty for residents. The construction of the New Brighton estate is coming along rapidly, which doesn't even seem to be a concern in DA's or modifications. The future residents of this estate don't seem to have a voice in this at all. Nothing that has been said by Concrete Recyclers, Department of Planning or the PAC, gives me any certainty in the safety of this project for local residents. Any safety breaches will only be pursued after the residents take the full brunt of them. To have the threat of commencement of this project for 5 years hanging over our heads is unfair to those that will have to deal with the daily impact of this decision. Concrete Recyclers have had their application lodged for over 10 years now. If there is such an urgent need for this facility in this location, why the 5 year delay in getting the project moving? They have no conscience for the concerns of residents, if they did, why let people spend their life savings building a life for themselves and their families in Georges Fair, then spring this on them once their houses are complete and a life and community built. We didn't get the opportunity to build elsewhere, to have the opportunity for a safe life for our family. Why should we have to sell our houses and move away? This company has proven time and again that they blatantly disregard the concerns of the community in which they wish to construct and work in, if they did, they wouldn't have waited until 2011 to start their application, when the construction in Georges Fair was starting to increase. They have not convinced me of a real need and want to construct this facility here. The Concrete Recyclers are more in this for nuisance value to local residents for being vocal on standing up for their families and communities. I don't expect anyone at the Department of Planning to care about local residents, you haven't up until now. All we can ask is for the modification to be overturned. Note that I won't be holding my breath though
