As a land based finfish farmer and as industry representative of land based farmers on the Aquaculture research and Advisory Committee, I full support the modification of the development application for marine finfish research and commercial aquaculture in floating sea cages on all 5 criteria.

I would like to support this application for the following reasons:
Having an experienced aquaculture company like Huon expand in this region will provide additional skills and benefits to other existing businesses in this region.
I feel that moving the site further offshore and increasing the area will help further minimise any possible environmental impacts.
There will be additional employment opportunities.
New South Wales Aquaculture lags behind other Australian states and needs more aquaculture companies to invest in NSW to secure the availability of fish into the future.
