I live in a unit directly opposite what will be the garage entrance of
for this development and am an owner/occupier of many years.
Here is yet another submission regarding expansion of the use for this
site. I've lost track of how many there have been over the last few
years. Mostly here the changes appear internal so do not affect me or
others in my block, though I note no interest has been shown here or
in other applications for the amenity of local residents.
Basically my objections are as previously stated;
- the building is too high and will cut light from units facing
Eveleigh St in my block,
- the flow of additional traffic from the building into Eveleigh St
from the carpark will not only add to unwanted noise but put an
already narrow street under further strain,
- it is not clear if service delivery vehicles will also be additional
traffic to and from the carpark. With a hotel, bar and (unspecified)
retail premises I'm assuming it could be an additional burden on the
street.
In addition, I had not taken notice before of the enormous impact of
at least thirty large containers of rubbish put out on Eveleigh St
once a week(?). The street will be clogged, whenever this happens, and
the noise of both placing the bins and the public collection will be
huge (and prolonged), especially if there is glass involved which with
a wine bar I expect there will be.
Overall, a terrible development for existing residents.

When i first heard the news about the construction i am devastated
because i am living just across the street of the building which is
going to be destroyed. The mentioned streets ; 1-5 Woodburn Street and
Eveleigh Street are really narrow streets which means any construction
will ruin our lives because of the unevitable noise and dust.
Furthermore, this is not a normal construction, they are planning to
build a mix-use hotel and bar which will probably take too long - at
least 1 year-. Thus, the houses around that building will be
unliveable for 1 year. Besides, that workshop is a successful business
so that many customers will be unhappy about the destruction of the
workshop. I would like this development modification to be canceled or
at least to be postponed to following years.

I request this shocking attempt to be canceled immediately because the
mentioned modification application will happen just across to my
balcony and there is only 3-4 meters between my house and the
building. Besides, they are mentioning about a huge facilitiy which
means the construction will continue at least 1 year. I object to this
unacceptable attempt since the streets around the building are
extremely small and it will affect our lives negatively in many ways,
beginning with intolerable noise and the dust will be a risk for our
health. I kindly request this development of modification to be
canceled or maybe considered to be delayed to future. I would like to
indicate that i will search ever legal way to object this construction
since this construction will definitely ruin our lives.

Thank you for notifying Sydney Water of the proposed development listed
above. We have reviewed the proposal and can provide the following
comments for your consideration.
Due to the proximity of the proposed development to Sydney Water
assets, we recommend that Council impose the following conditions of
consent:
Building Plan Approval
The approved plans must be submitted to the Sydney Water Tap in
online service to determine whether the development will affect any
Sydney Water sewer or water main, stormwater drains and/or easement,
and if further requirements need to be met.
The Sydney Water Tap in online self-service replaces our Quick Check
Agents as of 30 November 2015.
The Tap in service provides 24/7 access to a range of services,
including:
* building plan approvals
* connection and disconnection approvals
* diagrams
* trade waste approvals
* pressure information
* water meter installations
* pressure boosting and pump approvals
* changes to an existing service or asset, e.g. relocating or moving
an asset.
Sydney Water's Tap in online service is available at:
https://www.sydneywater.com.au/SW/plumbing-building-developing/building/sydney-water-tap-in/index.htm
Section 73 Certificate
A Section 73 Compliance Certificate under the Sydney Water Act 1994
must be obtained from Sydney Water.
It is recommended that applicants apply early for the certificate, as
there may be water and sewer pipes to be built and this can take some
time. This can also impact on other services and building, driveway or
landscape design.
Application must be made through an authorised Water Servicing
Coordinator.
For help either visit www.sydneywater.com.au > Plumbing, building and
developing > Developing > Land development or telephone 13 20 92.
