I fully support the modification as it keeps the community strong. We need jobs and security and mining in the Ulan district has certainly helped support this over the last 30 years. Mining in the Ulan seam is not new to the area, it has been going on now since the early 1900's and continues to contribute not only to the direct employees but also to the wider community. We have more to gain if it gets the go ahead than we have to lose if it does not. hopefully the silent majority will be heard this time and not the noisy minority as in the past objections.

For the past 6 years my husband and myself owned and operated Mudgee Septic & Waste and Mudgee Loo Hire.

M.C.O. has been a part of our success and we have now sold our business with the new owners looking forward to their continued business and support.

M.C.O. has played an integral part in the prosperity of local contractors and suppliers and their families in the Mudgee township and surrounding areas. This prosperity then filters down to the green grocer on the corner, our local barber and many other small businesses.

The result has been a small, charming country town that is vibrant, prosperous and healthy. A town where our children don't have to move away.

M.C.O. is active in their support for our local charities, schools, hospitals and other various organisations. For this reason too, they have my support.

Moolarben mine should be granted permission to complete this stage as the mine brings employment and positive growth to the community... You are constantly hearing in the local media the money that is donated across different areas from Moolarben coal, without the approval for them to continue this will cease to occur...
Continuation of their growth will secure employment for a large amount in the area and a lot of future for the next generation in the community...

The approval of the mine old secure further long term growth in the area. It would bring need new job to the district.

i support the project as it involves my hole family as my girls work in town that are suported by the mine i work at the mine myself and if the plane does not go ahaed there will be cut backs at the mine and jobs will be lost and shops will have to close in the town as a result if the project boes not go ahead and cuts will bemade at the hospital as they donate alot of money to wards the hospital
