I object to this project because of its size in an inappropriate location.
If large projects are considered necessary then they should be located on main roads , along ridge lines, so as to minimise degradation of the local communities.
It is fanciful to suggest that the developer of this project will be providing and maintaining "affordable housing" for the long term.

Hi, I live about a 10-minute walk from 40-48 Raglan Street and regularly visit Balmoral Beach. I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed development.

The scale of the building is out of step with the surrounding low-rise character and would dominate the area. It will have a noticeable impact on the streetscape and the views currently enjoyed by residents and visitors.

I am also concerned about the traffic and access implications. A development of this size will inevitably increase traffic, yet the surrounding streets (many without proper footpaths) are not designed to safely accommodate that level of use. As it stands, buses struggle to travel down Military Road.
