Back on 30 Jan 2026, I did send an e-mail to Kieran Thomas (see attached a copy of that e-mail as well as some exchanges that lead up to that e-mail to Kieran). I got no response to this e-mail. This e-mail outlined my strong objection to this development. The development would be devastating to me on many levels, destruction of my immediate environment and significant financial loss to name a few.

In addition to concerns raised in my e-mail in Jan '26, I also object for the following further reasons:
a. Traffic situation - a development of this size would have enormous impact on the traffic on our small shared road from our driveway to the roundabout and the lights on Burns Bay Road. It is busy enough as it is already.
b. Lack of street parking
c. Dangerous conditions for pedestrians/school children walking to/from school particularly during construction but after construction is complete as well.
d. Noise from AC plant, lifts, additional cars and many, many more residents being added in a relatively small volume (the building envelope) and very very close to my balcony and bedroom windows.

Without significant compensation, I (and probably ever other owner in this and other affected blocks) would strenuously object to any structure being built at 300 Burns Bay road that affects my view of Burns Bay in any way. This generally means not building in any airspace that is currently just airspace between my unit and the view of Burns bay from the balcony and the 3 bedroom windows .

I support the project, I believe it will significantly increase housing affordability and availability in the area.

I would like to see the number of units and storeys increased, as well as housing set aside for essential workers.

I am writing to formally object to the proposed development at 300 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove. As a neighbouring resident, I have significant concerns regarding the scale and impact of the proposal, particularly in relation to building height, density, traffic, and residential amenity.
The proposed height of approximately 12–13 storeys is not in keeping with the surrounding built environment. My apartment already receives limited natural light due to the orientation and positioning of nearby buildings, and the additional height and bulk of this development will further reduce sunlight access. This will negatively impact liveability, comfort, and overall wellbeing.
The proposal for over 200 residential units represents a substantial increase in density for the area. Given the number of existing high-rise developments in Lane Cove, this scale appears excessive and does not adequately consider the cumulative impact on local infrastructure and amenity.
Parking is already a significant challenge in the area due to the number of existing apartment buildings. The proposed development will introduce a large number of additional residents and vehicles, further exacerbating parking shortages and increasing traffic congestion along Burns Bay Road and surrounding streets.
In addition, the scale of the development suggests a prolonged construction period, which will result in sustained noise, dust, and disruption for nearby residents. This will have a considerable negative impact on quality of life.
Overall, the proposal does not adequately consider the cumulative impacts on neighbouring properties, particularly in terms of reduced sunlight, increased noise, traffic congestion, and pressure on local infrastructure.
While I acknowledge the importance of increasing housing supply, this proposal is excessive in scale and will have significant adverse impacts on the surrounding community. I respectfully request that the development be reconsidered, with a reduction in height and density to better align with the existing environment and capacity of the area.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally object to the proposed development of three new residential flat buildings at 300 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove. I respectfully request that this objection be taken into full consideration during the assessment process.

My concerns regarding this proposal are as follows:

1. Noise and Disturbance
Construction activities and increased occupancy will likely generate additional noise, affecting the quiet enjoyment of nearby homes both during and after construction.

2. Environmental Concerns
The development may result in the removal of vegetation and increased environmental strain, including reduced green space and potential impacts on drainage and local ecosystems.

I appreciate the opportunity to provide input on this matter and request to be kept informed of any decisions or further developments regarding this proposal.
