I oppose this project. Too many people already live here. Many large apartment complexes have already been built. If you go to the small park in front of my house, it is already packed with people. People from other neighborhoods come here for picnics, so it is already at capacity. There are also a huge number of dogs in this neighborhood, so dog poop is scattered everywhere and is many people don’t cleaned up. We have two children, and we want to live in a good environment. Another problem is traffic. Currently, it is standard for every household to own two cars. People line up to get to the roundabout to go out to Burns Bay road and the main roads are already completely jammed. Therefore, I oppose this project. Please help ensure that the current residents can live happily in this neighborhood. I hope for a positive outcome.

The new proposed apartments are more than twice the height of existing buildings which will overshadow the existing buildings which wer3 built under existing regulation. New housing should be built using existing regulations. The regulation shouldn't be changed like this. The new buildings will also overshadow the surrounding reserves making them dreary and removing their appeal.
There needs to be a huge improvement to existing infrastructure esp public transport reliability as buses in the area are already over capacity and hardly ever run on time. We also need a new local public high school in Lane Cove given that Hunters Hill High already covers a huge catchment before a whole new bunch of residents are brought into the suburb. There is no expectation that these new residents will want to pay exorbitant private school fees so local schools are needed. Same goes for primary schools. The existing ones shouldn't end up being oversubscribed as it will impact the quality of education for local kids.
This development is going to reduce the amazing appeal of Lane Cove with no redeeming features. New housing is needed but not without supportive infrastructure and not at the expense of existing buildings.

I feel that the size and height of the proposed development is a case of overdevelopment including the size and height of the proposal. the height of up to 15 stories does not align with the existing apartments surrounding the proposal. The traffic flow increase increase will place a huge strain on traffic entering and exiting Burns Bay Road especially at peak hour.

When we advised back in 30 May 2025, the development was going to be 7-8 levels now we are being advised 13-15 levels 2/4/26 hence we have been LIED too. I don't object the development going ahead but 13-15 levels. To be consistent between 290-302 Burns Bay Road keep the development 7-8 Levels. (e,g Waterview Drive apartments)
I have have studied your Apartments plans, Where is my privacy from levels 9-15 will be looking into my bedroom, bathroom, kitchen . I will have to have my blinds down all day . Also I have studied your plans for shadowing ? my sunshine will be comprised
My other concern, traffic nightmare , trying to access Burns bay Road in peak hours, now residents are turning right (going north) are forced to turn on red light.
Also as you aware 300 Burns Bay road was original a tannery, has the soil been tested for contamination ?
I am one of over thousand residents, that is going to b affected. However I don't expect you will take any notice of my concerns, having live at present address over 47 years. I am available any time for a call 0402429066 , Thank you for your attention

Although an increase in height it seems appropriate for the area when weighed against the needs for more housing within the inner areas of greater sydney.

Please don't let the NIMBYs win. There's a whole generation that will never be able to own their own home because of the habitual and selfish blocking of projects like this.
This project looks to be well positioned to give residents great access to public reserves annd a local and a public transport corridor. I am supportive, and a local resident .
P.s. this website sucks for mobile input. You can't scroll!!!

I object to this project due to the humongous size of the development. A project of 3 buildings of 12-13 levels is totally incongruent to our existing enviornment and character of the area.
My reasonings are listed below:
Current control limit - I believe the current control limit is 6 levels. The new development is proposing 12-13 levels which is way above the current control limit. What is the argument for such violation of the existing control rule?
Loss of character for the area - 3 buildings of 12-13 levels is completly incongruent to the existing character of our local area
Traffic - our existing shared roads are already rather limited. In particular, the small road from our driveway to the roundabout and the lights on Burns Bay Rd. With an increase of 215 residental units at the end of this small shared road will have sigificant impact on the local community. In addition, there is already lack of street parking at the moment. This new project will no doubt put stress on street parking which might result in lots of illegal parking on pedestrian pathways
Safety - with the increase of traffic in such a small area, it will post dangerous conditions for pedestrians, particulary children, walking to & from Burns Bay Rd bus facilities
Loss of views & privacy - The 3 new buildings with 12-13 levels will completely block our view to the river. We will lose privacy due to the height of this 3 buildings towering over us. Sunlight will no longer be shining onto our balcony, lounge room and master bedroom (see the photos attached)
I am urging the Council to reconsider such an out-of-character development which will damage the village feel of our area. A development of 6 levels and under would be more appropriate to maintain our character
Thank you
