The expansion of HVO will see continued support of local communities

The mine has provided employment and my lifestyle for over 40 years. The mine is a positive contributor to both the local area and state areas. The mine’s employees are environmentally conscious. The mine has many millions of tons of coal that can be mined without disturbing virgin ground. I fully support this application.

I support the project,HVO is more than a work place it provides comfort too me that I can keep my house in Cessnock look after my partner, I don't want to have too work away from home and risk potential separation with my partner and just not being able to be with her everyday, HVO gives me the comfort that I won't have to do that and still be able to live in the Hunter Valley. I support the project also because their are community's that depend on this mine site certain towns will be nothing without these projects. Their are heaps of company's that sub contract too the mine either on site or based in work shops around the Hunter and there will be alot of unemployment in the Hunter causing family separations, suicide, family hardships and a decline on Hunter Valley as a whole. due to the damage to the environment , dust and high cases of asthma

Having worked at the mine for more than twenty years, I my family and my local community has had great benefit from my employment. I hope that there is another twenty plus years for the young families employed to have the same as I have had.

Hvo has been a major part of my family for 3 generations with my farther my daughter and myself all working here! We could not have had the life we have without HVO! Not only as wages but also sporting groups charity groups and community projects… i believe with all my heart this continuation is desperately needed not only by my family or my community but the entire state!!

I support the continuation of HVO north because as my partner and many family members are part of this mine. The mining industry is an integral part of the hunter valley supporting so many families. I believe if the mine itself has the life to continue being mined then it should 100% should be.

I support this project as it benefits the community and provides income to a lot of families myself included. I believe it would be wrong to reject this proposal it would damage a lot of peoples livelihood

I fully support the project, HVO has been a great asset for the hunter and particularly my hometown of singleton. I currently live in singleton and feel HVO is part of why the community is such great place to live and raise a family. the continuation project being approved will be an integral part of keeping the community thriving, HVO provides sound financial stability to the region at a time and in an industry that is not so stable and feel if it is not approved would cause for financial hardship for the region.

Mining is an important part of the hunter culture in which I’ve been raised my entire life. I am new to the industry myself but I am awed at the opportunities the lifestyle has blessed me with. I am very pleased with the overview and planning HVO is claiming to achieve and I wish for the project to continue, whether I am within the company and/or the local community.
