My job to support my young family to give my kids a good start to life

I fully support this continuation project. This company has afforded myself and thousands of others a lifestyle that we would otherwise not had the opportunity to have. It also continues to pour hundreds of millions of dollars into the local communities and the state. Without this venture there would be massive holes in the state government budget as well as local businesses. I urge you to approve this continuation project.

This project will help support the community and is essential for my family to be supported by myself in the employment by glencore

The continuation of this project is important to my family, maintaining employment and to the greater community.

I believe the continuation of Hunter Valley Operations crucial not just for the 1500 or so jobs directly affected by the potential closure but the knock-on effect both locally and nationally.
Locally, based on the amount of money spent in the local community by Glencore and the workforce themselves combined with the rising interest rates, property values will plumet as has been proven again and again previously when coal prices dropped causing other mines to close.
Internationally on the lost royalties putting pressure on an already burdening fragile Australian economy.
HVO produces high quality coal which burns cleaner which allows other countries only just going through their own 'industrial revolution 'to prosper, building wealth to better assist in the eventual move to green energy whilst limiting the impact on our environment.
The closure will put added pressure on an already high demand for quality coal causing a detrimental impact on our environment during our 'green energy' phasing in period worldwide.
Please allow common sense to prevail when making the decision to extend an 'existing' mine lease.

I support Hvo projects.

I wish to support the continuation of HVO north. This project provides essential employment for many in the community as well as engaging the services of many local suppliers.

I support the Hunter Valley Operations project as it will provide much needed security for employment for around 1500 people, provide ongoing support for local businesses and suppliers and provide ongoing community support via ongoing significant contributions to the local and regional economy. The project does not provide major changes to mining activities or significant changes in terms of environmental or social impacts.
