Once again the good people of Moorebank and Wattle Grove are being forced to live beside a massive inland freight terminal. They need to consider the impact on traffic, health and people's lives.
Please reconsider.
I am especially worried about the movement of freight along Anzac Road, which is a residential area

Hi
My family and I are new residents of the Georges Fair Estate in Moorebank having just completed our new home.
My husband and I however are long time residents of the area, having grown up in Casula and Hammondville.
The local area is a great place to raise our children, local parks, access to the river, good community facilities. Heavy industry and heavy transport has no place in Moorebank. The road infrastructure strains during peak hour, residential streets are not made for B doubles and other heavy loads. The Georges river should not be rehabilitated and valued as a community asset, not as the site for such a heavy and dirty industry.
We strongly oppose the construction of a demolition plant or a container terminal in the Moorebank area and especially adjacent to the Georges river.

Money and greed, bonuses and profits are the things fuelling this freight terminal at Moorebank
Like all big business ventures they are all based around themselves not the community and what the community are left with is a massive white elephant in this case a white elephant that pollutes the air we breathe, the noises we hear, add to the already congested traffic problems, and totally destroy the biodiversity along with this amazing riverside.
It's about time we capturing this great area and lovely riverside into a great community hub with parks, cafes and restaurants - bring it to life. Instead of making it the black sheep of the area allow this river to become the beating heart of Liverpool.
I have lived in this area for 18 years and in that time I have seen countless parks, schools and community centres destroy for company and government profits leaving the community of Liverpool in particularly Moorebank with less and less public areas to enjoy.
Along this stretch of river is a great barefoot ski club which caters for a range of ages from 10-50+. Which regularly competes on state, national and international events.
This like all other community friendly areas need to stop being destroyed!
2 words .. Badgerys Creek
You must ask yourself. Why Moorebank and not Badgerys Creek?
This is a growth area. With an airport to be built an intermodal would be suited at Badgerys Creek. An area that can build the appropriate infrastructure and link road, rail and air.
Think about the future of Sydney

This whole development will be disastrous for Liverpool, Casula, Moorebank and Wattle Grove. Roads will be clogged with traffic 24 hours a day, noise and pollution from vehicles detrimental to health and beautiful river subject to pollution. If the stockpiling application is approved residents of Casula, Moorebank and Wattle Grove will be choked by dust and noise from the crushing plant and the river will become polluted.
This Development is totally wrong for this area and if approved will destroy a rapidly developing residential area forever

Liverpool has one of the highest asthma occurrences in NSW. Our children suffer at a rate of 1:8 persons who struggle to breath because of the dust allergy. Consider the health related problems as a cost to the community and an obstructiontotheir education because of the school missed. this is another example of how money is greater importance than lives

This proposed container terminal and associated works is an abomination and an insult to the people who have settled in the Liverpool Area
The latest proposal to dump 1.6 million tonnes of fill in the area is contrary to all flood-plain management principles, so in the event of flooding the surrounding areas will be adversely affected.
Noise, dust, fumes, traffic in the middle of residential?
It is the WRONG PLACE for such a development

Dear Sir/Madam,
We object to this White Elephant waste of our Taxpayer Dollars. As well as Objecting to the proposed Moorebank Freight Intermodals, we object to these proposed modifications.
Modification 1/5:
Bring in 1.6 Million m3 of dirt = 640 Olympic Swimming Pools
Requires 745 trucks or 1490 truck movements everyday
Operating 16hrs Mon-Fri and 13hrs on Saturdays
6 days a week for 6 to 9 months
That's 232,440 to 357,600 total truck movements
Modification 2/5:
Build a Crushing/Demolition Plant by the River
Materials to be crushed are presently unknown; may be contaminated or contain asbestos
Intention to hose down dump trucks but not listing Air Quality measures for the Plant itself.
These Objections are official and required to be recorded
Thanking you

Have objected to this proposal from the very start and continue to vigorously object. The traffic in the area to a standstill on numerous occasions already and to envisage what it might be like with further trucks clogging the area is something I would not like to see happen. The air pollution in this area is bad already without compouning the problem with further diesel fumes adding to the pollution problem. My wife and I have lived in the area for 44years and have seen dramatic changes to the area and not always to the betterment of the area.Should this proposal proceed we seriously consider moving away.

Please review and reconsider this monstrous proposal. There are people living a few hundred meters from the worst kind of pollutant known. Is this what we have in mind for our young?
When this idea was first formed the area was hardly populated, you don't create a large, vibrant community and put a massive intermodal terminal in the middle of it. Thank you considering our kids

Pollution! So over businesses putting their own needs first! doesnt anyone want a clean healthy environment for our children to grow up in. We know what asbestos has done to the health of people and to bring that right into our backyards is unacceptable!

I live in this area with my children. I use the roads to get my children to school, get myself to work and complete daily tasks like shopping. Extra trucks means extra time spent in my car and less quality time with my family.
Extra trucks also means more pollution and fumes which my daughters sensitive lungs will not handle. Approval will mean I am forced to move out of the beautiful area I live in. My daughters health must come first.

What a ridiculous proposal of putting the intermodal in Moorebank. Wouldn't Badgerys Creek or a location further out be a better option, especially near the airport. There's enough traffic in the area that the infrastructure can't handle and adding more traffic is ludicrous. The noise, the dust and the carbon pollution is not welcome in the area.
I'm sure the main stakeholders wouldn't favour this proposal if it was in their backyard. Bet none of them live in the area. Should it go ahead, ensure the purse strings are open in the thousands of health compensation payouts!
