This information guides you through the steps needed to complete the project details section of the BASIX assessment. Accurate data entry ensures the assessment correctly reflects your proposal.

This section includes:

  • Project address – how to enter the site’s address or lot/plan details using autocomplete or manual entry.
  • Project type – how to select and enter details for the type of development so the correct BASIX requirements are applied.
  • Site details – how to provide key information about the site, such as the site area, and the total roof area.

For multi-dwelling developments, this section also requires you to enter information about central systems (such as lifts or central hot water systems), common areas (such as garbage rooms, lobbies or underground car parks), and building and dwelling details.
