I object tin the strongest possible terms. Ours is a quiet and clean neighbourhood. It is grossly unjust to have allowed us to build our homes in this area over the last 20 years, only to spring this on us.

The road system & area can't accommodate the extra traffic 2500 trucks per day is 104 trucks per hour on Moorebank Avenue plus all local traffic. Accident today 17/02/17 on M5 truck and 2 cars at Moorebank. Extra trucks will mean more serious accidents. M5 was completely blocked. Add 2,500 trucks per name accident waiting to happen. 100% object this intermodal

Objection 1 : Moorebank Container Terminal - West - SSD 5506 MOD1
I am against the importation of 1.6million cubic metres of fill. I am concerned that the current land on the proposed site will not be remediated adequately enough and will just be covered over with the fill. This concerns me due to the high number of chemicals and materials left behind by The Defence Department. The area is known for floods and should a big flood occur it could cause irreparable damage to the environment, in particular The Georges River and the critically endangered, assumed extinct plant of the hibbertia fumana species.
I am against the increase to building heights and ground levels for similar reasons to the above eg flooding and run off. An increase in building heights will increase the noise, light and pollution to my home and nearby residents.
I am against the altered Construction footprint including additional land parcels.

I am against the Increased operational vehicle movements between the Moorebank Precinct West and Moorebank Precinct East sites.

I am against the Re-arrangement of approved uses such as the freight village, truck parking and drainage infrastructure.

I am against Modifying the staging of future applications

I am against the Change of function of the interstate terminal to accommodate interstate, intrastate and port shuttle rail freight.

I am against the Subdivision.

I live in an area which the government is putting a lot of money into making beautiful and this is the complete opposite.

1. Traffic congestion on already busy roads, especially M5, where access from Moorebank is inadequate for large container trucks.
2. Increased air pollution from diesel fumes and heavy machinery
leading to health problems - asthma, emphysema, lung cancer.
1. Removal of acres of natural bushland containing threatened species and many large trees including 45 with nesting hollows which are already rare in our area. This will also cause major degradation of the Georges River which is an important amenity for Liverpool and surrounds.

This project will bring pollution and unwanted congestion on suburban roads, wildlife will be destroyed,increased noise pollution, a flourishing community will become a wasteland of containers and trucks. So many more environmentally efficient and prosperous solutions can be found. This intermodal is a waste of time, a white elephant of a scheme. Not on my taxpaying dollars...

Having to import 1.6 million cubic metres of fill really says it all - this is the wrong site for such a development and having to increase the ground levels is asking for trouble in the future.
You start off with one concept and then keep on wanting to increase/change things as you please along the way without any thought whatsoever for the residents of the area. Our roads are already filled to capacity without the extra trucks that will be coming and going 24/7 creating air, noise and visual pollution. We do not have the capacity to carry those extra vehicles, and for you to want to create a `freight village' is scandalous.
I am lodging my strongest objection to this entire proposal and am hoping that common sense takes over from corruption and greed.

If you have to import 1.6 million cubic metres of fill to make this site viable, then this is the wrong site for such a development.
I also strongly object to to your proposed re-arrangement of approved uses should this development go ahead. There are too many residences close by and none of them have been given any consideration. Apart from the residents, there are a number of schools and aged care institutions who will be affected by this proposal.
I strongly object to any proposals and indeed, to this project going ahead at all.

The traffic load alone, not to mention the alienation of public riverfront space is obscene.

I object to the noted modification and the entire intermodal project on the grounds that it is not a suitable location in so close proximity to a residential area where traffic congestion and pollution is aready stretched to the limit. The modification noted only intends to increase the impact on the community.

Liverpool now has only 5% of the original Cumberland Plain Woodland. Hibbertia fumana, thought extinct, has been rediscovered.

I object to this as I live in moorebank and I would never of lived here had I known this would be the future of moorebank. I have a huge mortgage and if my house lost value then I would end up bankrupt and unable to sell. I have 5 children and they go to school in this area. My 2 youngesthave very bad asthma and this will only add to their illness. Already we have so much traffic and so many trucks in moorebank. Please don't allow this to happen. Think about the lives of all the people that live in this area. People matter more than making money, build the marina and make moorebank into a beautiful area. This is causing a lot of families anguish worrying about this terrible idea. This is not the place for it and it needs to be stopped.
