Fossil fuels are not the way of the future, renewable energy sources should be considered.

I strongly oppose this project especially there has not been given enough time for any response or to let the people know all about what is planned and going on details that where submitted 7 years ago.This wi;ll have a great impact on a lot of people living and making an impact on peoples lively hood and on there land which they have respected and looked after for generations. I personnelly know of a family at Moorlands where I purchase organically produced lamb, and this if allowed to happen will have ahuge impact on them most probably ending this lovely business and there farm, and the beautiful meat they supply us and a lot of other families, in a sustainable way which is what I want to eat and purchase and support. I object to this very strongly on the impact this will have on the way I wish to eat and purchase my food down this part of this beautiful country.

I object to the Department extending the lapsing date of the Dalton Power plant. I object for the following reasons:
1) Previous approval was undertaken under Part IIIA the legisation which allowed the Minister to override other concerns so it is questionable whether the original approval should have been made in the first place.
2) If extension is given then AGL will be submitting a request for modifying the plans. AGL does not know or has not provided information on the extent of the required modifications. it is only fair that the Government looks at the entire proposal anew under the legislation as it currently stands. There should not be any shortcuts.
3) AGL had previously stated they would not be going ahead with the plant and people in the area have made decisions on the development of their land based on that statement and it is not fair to extend current approval without taking into account any additional impacts that hav arisen since that approval. The only way to do that is to look at AGL's plans as a new proposal.

I would like the project to be moved to a location that is away from an area where people will be inconvenienced by the noise.

We do NOT need any polluting fossil fuels instalations in NSW that will become stranded assets before they are finished being built. AGL have not provided sufficient cause for extension and their track record with the non declaration of political donations makes this a TOXIC proposal that if approved, will make the NSW liberals culpable and unelectable. Wise up and reject this proposal

AGL no longer have the community trust and have shown blatant disregard for the ethics of the lodgement process, failing to mention political donations on numerous occassions.

This proposal must be rejected and AGL instructed to resubmit a full application through the normal approvals process.
