A windfarm near Mudgee would be ideal. We need energy based on wind. It
would lower energy prices.

"The modification will destroy a huge volume of trees and other
vegetation along Aarons Pass Road. It is environmental vandalism and
should be rejected."

I personally visit, with my family. the Aaron Pass area several times a
year.

I object fully to the unbelievable destruction of trees and fauna that
has occurred and will continue to occur.. It is highly hypocritical
that apparently these wind turbines will save the planet, but you need
to destroy the natural environment to install them.

It should be remembered that the rare earth mining required to create
these subsided, inefficient, industrial monoliths is responsible for
large swathes of of environmental destruction and increase in toxicity
where this mining takes place.

I find it disturbing that ideology of city dwellers fails to
comprehend the destruction of a natural environment in both the
creation and installation of these industrial installations.

The loss of amenity to locals and visitors alike is disregarded, as
their livelihood and leisure seems insignificant, to the votes of the
city dwelling environmentalist. The proponents of this stupidity
rarely venture a few kilometers from their local inner city cafe and
chardonnay bar. It is the height of selfishness, as they believe they
can save the planet as long as they push the price away from them and
someone bears the effect.

I fully object to this proposal.

I wholeheartedly support the Crudine Ridge Wind Farm. Such proposals
should be supported and celebrated as climate change accelerates.
Your departments is not so shy in approving inappropriate towers in
residential areas, so act climate responsibly and approve this wind
farm.

I believe that there is controversy over work being done on the Aarons
Pass Road. I haven't travelled this road for some time, however,
whatever works have been done recently could only improve its' safety.

When I used Aarons Pass Road on the way to a contract weed spraying
job I found it to be very narrow and dangerous and was thankful that
there wasn't much traffic on it. If the road is to be widened,
realigned and improved it can only increase safety for those using it.

If the proposed work allows construction of a wind farm, even at the
cost of some native vegetation, it will be another benefit.

To halt or delay something that will enhance this country's renewable
energy capacity would prolong our reliance on fossil fuels and only
add to the climate change phenomenon we are all experiencing.

The roadworks need to be completed.

I object to this modification because the developer has not planned to
bring to the Department's notice all the proper information( increased
blade size etc) when the project was approved. and now CWP find they
can't get the blades in unless the developer virtually removes most of
the trees along the whole road. Farmers cant remove whatever timber
off their properties just because it suits them to do so

Pyramul is a lonely place, hilly and winding, the devastation of mass
removal of trees (over 70% higher than permission given) will cause
more hill slippage. It is a hard and horrid drive to shop for
residents. Families will stop visiting parents/grandparents in case of
accidents.
So let's make it harder for all concerned.
77 turbines wasn't viable if my information is correct for the company
to build. But, all of a sudden we go to 38 (I think) and that is?
The height of tower poles has increased. Why has this been allowed? It
doesn't help residents locally or elsewhere - just lines the pockets
of companies.
I would love to continue to visit my brother, but it is dangerous now,
let alone in the future.
What happens if there is a fire, how are you going to save residents
when roads are destroyed/covered with hill slippage?

I visit my brother in Pyramyl. Roads are bad enough at anytime, but with
the crap that the big companies have done, make it more unsafe to
visit. They have killed the community. Fix it now and make it safe
once again for all who live there and have family they visit.

I object to the modification requested by the Developer of The Crudine
Ridge Windfarm to change the Consent conditions (for Aarons Pass Road)
set by the PAC in May 2016 and confirmed by the Commonwealth
Environment Department in April 2017.

As a road user of Aarons Pass Road when visiting Family I was appalled
to view the Environmental damage carried out by this Developer at the
start of the road until they had to cease further clearing.
It is obvious the Developer wants permission to destroy the remainder
of this unique road journey and they should not be permitted to do so.

The self trumpeting of the CWP on their website about their
environmental care and concerns smacks of pure hypocrisy.

I write in support of this proposal as it will provide more embedded
generation in the NSW and national grid.

The fact that this project represents innovative technology and an
efficient use of the space (fewer) turbines for the same power is to
be welcomed. This installation can be removed in 25 years or replaced
with new and updated technology as is required at the time. It is not
a permanent fixture but will give the community long term benefits
beyond the 25 years of its life through associated technical
innovation.

Change is inherent in any society as it adapts to changing
circumstances. This is the case today as it has always been and, while
we may be wary of change, we should be prepared to embrace it when it
is necessary as now.
