I object to the mine continuing, it has already made an impact on the farming conditions, and also has been an impact on my parents Health farming in that area, I remember how it used to look like many years ago and now it has become a complete eye sore. Thanks to Human Negligence and Management . This mine was originally going to be underground, its amazing how greed can change the original Planning of a mine and doesn't matter who it has effected, and for those who have been in the area for generations has had to grin and bear it !!!

I object to this proposal which will destroy even more flora and fauna in Ben Bullen State Forest .
Coalpac has a very poor record of rehabilitation, in quantity and quality, at its existing mines.
The Cullen Valley and Invincible mines are a blight on the landscape.
The open cut and highwall mining of inferior coal is unnecessary and the damage caused is unjustified.
It can never be rehabilitated to the original condition of Ben Bullen State Forest, even though Coalpac claims it can.
They are not to be trusted, based on their past performance.

I support this project as the land proposed to be mined will have restrictions in place as to where they can mine. This ensures that the unique rock formations found in this area will not be defaced as argued by the misinformed green groups.

I wish to advise that I am all for the mine to
Go ahead. I have just finish building our new house
In Cullen Bullen, my husband was the shot firer for downer who was a contractor for coal pac until the pit was closed down. He was made redundant. It is a must for the local area that the pit goes ahead. I have a young family and wish to stay in the area. With out the work it may mean we have to move out of the area which I am sure is the same for a lot of family's. Please approve mine to secure my family's future.

I would like to see the mine go ahead. I was employed at Cullen mine for 12 years. I have put a lot of time into mining and would like to continue this job. I have grown up in this area and have just completed a new house in Cullen Bullen. I would like to secure my family's future in this area. The only way this can happen is if the mine goes ahead.

See attached submission which, because of the nature of Coalpac's proposed assault on the same area as previously but this time on two separate fronts, is the one submission for both fronts.
