Mod 1 - Approval Lapse Date

The initial approval is disgusting on all levels, social economic and environmental and should be withdrawn immediately.
This project has been on and off for years and it's time that it is stopped thereby putting all residents out of there misery.

i object to the modification of the lapse of consent clause. This proposal has already had a dramatic effect on local residents, the community as a whole and the potential sale of properties that lie within the effect of this proposal.

I simply do not understand why the department is spending tax payers' money to support a group of people who will be financially benefited from this development at the expense of the lives of a large communities around this ridiculous recycling plant. Any person with common sense could understand the impact of this plant on the local communities, but unfortunately the department either does not have capacity/skill to undertake a proper investigation or has other interest in approving this plant.

I am pretty sure any of these approvers would not let his/her son/daughters/grandchildren live near this plant, but they are forcing us to do so. What a misuse of power!

They are supporting a proposal that is full of flawed information.

What would happen if a group of people inhale air with asbestos filaments emitted from this plant? What monitoring requirements would stop these people from dying? Who will be responsible for death and other illness caused by this plant?

I am not talking about money or lifestyle... I just don't want to see me or any of my family members die this way..

THIS PLANT MUST NOT BE BUILT... A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION BY COMPETENT PERSON MUST BE UNDERTAKEN BEFORE MAKING ANY DECISION..

I OBJECT MOST STRONGLY TO A 5 YEAR EXTENSION BEING GRANTED TO MOOREBANK RECYCLERS FOR THEIR OBNOXIOUS, POLLUTING, FILTHY CONCRETE CRUSHING MONSTROSITY IN THE MIDDLE OF SUBURBIA ADJACENT A RIVER. THEY WAITED TOO LONG, THE SURROUNDING AREAS ARE NOW RESIDENTIAL WITH A LOT MORE RESIDENTIAL/RECREATIONAL FACILITIES ON THE DRAWING BOARD & PRESENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
GO FIND ANOTHER SITE IN AN INDUSTRIAL AREA WITH NO HOMES CLOSER THAN 0NE KILOMETRE.

This project cannot continue forward as it has been going.
I completely support an ICAC investigation into the pure
corruption that has taken it so far. The ICAC investigation will expose all those that have approved it from the beginning and it will be all those involved to be exposed to a public forum.

I strongly object this waste treatment plant close to this nice residential area

As a young family we are absolutely against this facility having any extension to its current situation that it has found itself in.
This is precisely why we have these laws and as a community under siege with this shocking toxic dump have the right to be overly critical at this proposal.

I am completely against the Moorebank Concrete Recyclers being given an extension of time for anything! It is a ludicrous proposal that this business is going ahead in the middle of THOUSANDS of families! They are not wanted and not welcome here. I have had a petition running against them and will be submitting shortly to Premier Mike Baird in protest of this insanity. Please consider the thousands of people including families and children who will be harmed from the pollution of this plant including the asbestos and silica dust they will pour into the air and the hundreds of trucks that will clog the streets.

The decision for approval by PAC failed to properly address the concerns of the residents, Liverpool Council, Ned Mannoun (Liverpool Mayor), Melanie Gibbons (Holsworthy MP), Craig Kelly (MP) and other interested parties regarding mainly access and most importantly pollution.
Residents are also concerned about the closeness of the facility to their homes and the many problems it will bring.
Why is an extension of time required when there has been many years to sort out any issues?
Why was this not included in the previous submission and tacked onto what has already been decided?
The issues will probably be ongoing until the time period expires.

I am against any extension of time for this preposterous application.

What an absolute disgrace. What a hide this company has trying to extend their time for construction. Having illegally bought the land in the first place through dodgy dealings with crooked councilors and then managed to change the zoning to suite their purpose, its a disgrace it has even gotten this far. But seeing we are governed by state representatives that are only interested in lining their own pockets and don't care what stress and health issues they project onto their constituents, it is to be expected.

This is a residential area with beautiful brand new housing estate 'Georges Fair'
A concrete recycling plant will greatly affect existing home values for these families and there home ownership dreams.

It will not only de-value their homes. The noise and dust from the concrete recyclers will not do the community any good in terms of health.
You will put pressure on the health system in the area...imagine all the new cases of asthma due to the dust.

It is obsurd that this has been approved. I very strongly object.
