I strongly object to the above modification which would allow the proponent to continue to pursue having the concrete recycling approved. The surrounding residents whose lives will be grossly affected have the right to have this issue resolved and not have it drag on for five more years. We all have a right to know what the future holds for us living here and not be under this ongoing threat.

Hello

I strongly object to Moorebank waste facility, as this will impact the future for my kids and all kids in the local housing, due to extra and unwanted concrete dust. Noise polution will increase traffic will become a problem when we currently are coping.
The Savvas family strongly object to the Moorebank Waste Facility. These types of businesses should not be located anywhere near housing and children.

I and my family are all vehemently opposed to the approval of the concrete recycling plant proposed for Moorebank near our homes and alongside the Georges River.
The community are opposed to it, the residents are opposed to it, our own council and adjoining councils are opposed to it.
Federal and State government ministers are opposed to it.
tens of thousands of motorists are opposed to it.
It that the community is becoming furious that this applicant keeps trying to move the goal posts and again has been given leeway in their application.
We the ratepayers, taxpayers and residents deserve nothing less than to have this proposal once and for all rejected and put to death.

Any one with half a brain can see that it is the wrong place for this industrial activity. All the proposed truck movements and noisy, dusty industry would be along side and adjacent to long term existing housing estates an large new and still developing residential areas. Our wonderful Georges River would be put at risk.
Every motorist who uses any arterial local and main road will be put at risk by the additional many hundreds of truck movements that this proposal would generate

How many hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent trying to rejuvenate and rebirth the Georges River, is all of that money and effort to be just cast aside.
All of our residents old, young and children deserve better.

We the ratepayers, taxpayers and residents deserve nothing less than to have this proposal once and for all rejected and put to death.

I am totally against this recycling plant. I have just built my first home and I have 5 children. I live pretty much across the road from where the recycling plant will be situated. Both my young children have asthma and allergies. I don't want my children to be breathing in polluted air. This is a nightmare for me and my family, we just want to bring our children up in a great area and a healthy clean environment. This is our first home we don't have any option to move anywhere else. Please stop this from happening, I'm scared for my children and with all he trucks driving down my road someone will end up getting hurt. There's enough traffic and we want our beautiful Georges fair to stay the way it is. Take this recycling plant somewhere else. This is not right and I will keep fighting until this is stopped. Thank you

I object to the submission. Why should the goalposts keep moving??? Why do these proponents keep receiving more bites of the cherry???

To whom it may concern
I am once again writing to object to the modification being sought for this project. Lapsing conditions for part 3a transitional projects occurs 5 years after the repeal of Part 3a. This is legislation, it is not open to interpretation.
Once again I am dismayed at the fact the Department is even considering this modification. The number of times concession has been granted and goal posts have moved for this proponent is bordering on ridiculous. Who looks after the rights of the community in this case?
I'll look forward to the outcome of your considerations.

I agree with the original submissions of Liverpool City Council and Benedict Sands. It would be unfair to allow an extension of the consent period given the public has already waited over a decade for a decision to be made. We have been living in limbo for too long. We need closure sooner rather than later. Why should Moorebank Recyclers get another bite of the cherry? The area is still consistently changing and it's unfair to allow more time given there is currently even more residential development adjacent to the site. The residential estate of Brighton Lakes wasn't even around until late last year which further demonstrates the evolving nature of the surrounding area, and that this facility does not belong here!

This is a residential community not an industrial community. We want our river and bushland to be maintained for generations to come not potentially polluted by an industry that has no place in this community. How can we be assured that our air quality will not be affected. Who is going to absolutely guarantee to me and the rest of our community that the substantial prices we paid for our land and houses will not come crashing down if this project goes ahead? this is my retirement home - I want it protected by the council and State government who should be on our side and not on the side of an individual business owner.

The ongoing favourable treatment of the Moorebank Recycling Plant and their owners is ludicrous and one wonders why they appear to be receiving favourable treatment from Government Departments. The owners of this land have had over 10 years to develop the site yet they wait until the 11th hour to decide to develop same in circumstances where the local area is now a residential area - not an industrial dumping ground. A Sunset Clause was inserted into their Approval for a reason. If they acted promptly in developing the site some 10 years ago (before Georges Fair was planned) then none of us would be dealing with this appalling state of affairs in 2016. One wonder what the political motivation is and I will stop short of saying any more on this political point. I object to any extensions of time - they failed to act promptly - their problem not ours. Perhaps they could cut their losses and sell the land or God forbid they could take up the offer to move to a different location.

This is a nightmare project to the local community. You build the community first and now you want to make people suffer this recycling project. This facility has to move from here.

Please do not allow this facility to proceed within such a short distance from our homes. You cannot guarantee there will be no health issues due to airborne particles. I have three young children as do many living in the Georges Fair/Moorebank area. There will be trucks entering the estate 6 days per week further endangering our children with dust, pollution and possibly even be hit by one of these speeding trucks.

How can this proposal proceed when there is a minimum distance to be maintained between a facility with asbestos and other dangerous material.

Please do not proceed, would you willingly live within 300-500m of this facility and would you subject you children or your elderly family members to this environment.
