I strongly object to the above its a disgusting filthy poisoning facility that will see our children suffer in the long term. The planning and assessment commission should be ashamed for approving such a facilty in immediate proximity to this beautiful residential community we live in.

I fully object to the Modification Request for a five year lapsing date. This project is not suitable so close to residential land and recrential facility's. As a major stakeholder (resident) in this project I don't believe the objections of the surrounding residents have been thoroughly considered. The Impact of air, noise and visual pollution and major increase in heavy traffic is of a major concern as well as the policing of the strict conditions imposed in the approval. The recycling materials plant is not suitable now or in 5 years.

I write in response to the applicant seeking an extension of time for construction of the Recycling Facility at Moorebank. I vehemently oppose this request to be able to start construction up to five years from consent. Ultimately, the Planning and Assessment Commission HEAVILY based their decision to allow the facility on the zoning of the area which is to expire on 1 September 2018. Why should the consent extend beyond when the zoning sunset clause expires? It is blatantly obvious that this facility is NO LONGER SUITABLE for this area as it is now residential and the sunset clause was there for a reason. Clearly those who gave initial consent were aware that the area's industrial background was evolving. We the resident's of Georges Fair have had this hanging over our heads now for five years. To have the construction period extended beyond this date is incredibly unfair on the resident's who need some kind of closure. Sitting on knifes edge for over a decade is unfair and immoral. We deserve better. Moorebank Recyclers have been given opportunity after opportunity to get their act together, they've had long enough to start this project. Clearly if they can't get construction started prior to 1 September 2018, then their opportunity was lost for a reason and the land should be used in a different way that is CONSISTENT with the CURRENT ZONING of the area - i.e. residential, recreational use.

I strongly object this modification request. Since Moorebank Waste Recycling Facility should not be located close to residential zone.

To whom it may concern
This recycling plant should not be built near residential properties, when the council and all residents living in the area object to this development already why would you give them another 5yrs to built, a health and socioeconomic risk in a residential area.
To approve this does not take into consideration the residents of the area, it could be seen as who ever has the most money wins.
I hope you consider the health of the next generation, and the world health organisation guidelines on concrete dust and particles.
Please don't give Moorebank recyclers another 5yrs, if they can't do it by 2018, when they have been planning this for years, then they aren't very organised and are unlikely to comply with any of the conditions that have been put in by PAC.

The modification to grant a 5 year consent period for the construction of the Concrete Recycling plant should not be granted.
Changes to the consent period would only further undermine decisions made from council. The original application was filed more than a decade ago, and period of consent was already more than generous.
The original application lacked foresight and planning for the area when there were no residential area zoned, allowing an extension to the application now would be irresponsible and reprehensible.

This development will have substantial impacts on the environment, and the health of the residents of Moorebank and Georges Fair. If the sunset clause goes ahead then the developers will be able to break new enironmental laws which will come in to place during this time.

I am concerned about the health impacts of building a facility like this so close to residential areas. I'm also concerned about the impact on the natural environment, in particular the Georges River.

This proposed facility is absolutely inappropriate for the residential, bushland and aquatic area surroundings and for the dysfunctional land use proposed. Therefore no extension should be granted. Please also consult with the local area Aboriginal Land Council, the local area bushland society, waterways, crown land authorities, NSW fisheries first for permission.

Dear Mr Anthony Witherdin,
Thank you for your notification of Moorebank Waste Recycling Facility's request to extend the time allowed for the construction of the proposed recycling plant. On behalf of my family, I wish to voice our strong objection to this request and would like to have few words to express our serious concern over this application to extend the consent.
We are a young family of 4 and live across to Brickmarkers Road, which means our home is one of the closest to the proposed development. To be honest, every day when getting on the road to take the kids to school, I can't help but look across over to the lovely greenery and ponds that I currently see and seriously dread what will become of my street, my neighbourhood and my community if this disasterous horrific development comes into effect . Like every other families in our neighbourhood, we have invested immensely on creating what we dreamt to be our long-term nest, only to now be waiting anxiously not knowing whether this horrendous project will eventually come through. To be living through this fear every day and to learn that this misery may be extended beyond the already torturous daily reminder brings great agony and grief to our family. Please please stop this nonsense - our families do not want to be breathing in toxic materials that will kill us.
