This is a shame I am writing this objection for the nth time. It's so illogical in a developed country such decisions are being taken. I have a family a small baby and the fear of living under a continuous threat of being infected with health issues is a nightmare and a mental stress. I strongly disapprove this project and plead in you to leave the suburb for a healthy living. Its time someone has a common sense looks like it's proven it's not common in this case. Had big hopes seeing Mike Baird being so proactive and a people friendly politician.this decision will be a true reflection on the premier and his political image

As a local resident I object in the strongest possible way to the concrete recycling plant. It is ridiculous to have this so close to a growing residential area. There are severe health concerns die to air pollution as well traffic congestion and noise pollution.

I also have concerns about pollution of the nearby Georges river.

How can the NSW government allow such a proposal across from 3 major enhancements to Moorebank?!

1. We have the new Georges Fair estate , that now is at risk to be flooded with trucks loaded with theier rubbish and aspestos

2. The new Mirvac/new golf course development - again another high end residential development

3. the proposed Marina

After the counsel has worked hard to bring moorebank into the limelight with 3 great developments now you guys want to approve a concrete recycling plant in the middle of all this?! right on the banks of the George's river too!..

Honestly any sound minded agency understands this is not the place for it, and now they want even more time for this development to be considered? please act responsibly to the residents of Moorebank and Georges Fair and disapprove this crazy idea.. next thing you know u will allow a tip to be approved next door because the land is "zoned" for that back 20 years ago!...

Please explain why the proposed concrete recycling facility has not been moved to another location. Please explain why common sense has not yet prevailed. Please explain why having a concrete recycling facility less than 200 metres from people homes makes any sense. Please explain why we live in a country where the local council objects, the state minister objects and the fedral minister objects to this ludicrous proposal and yet here you are still trying to push it through. I'm disgusted in this so called planning as the only benefit is lining the pockets of a heartless company. This is not progress this is not acceptable this is a disgrace. We don't need more trucks clogging up the residential streets we don't need the dust and desease a recycling plant can cause built right on top of a residential area. There are plenty of other industrial areas, wake up to yourselves and build the bloody thing there!

Totally unacceptable for the area and surrounding streets now. It's not an industrial suburb anymore. You are polluting our area and more noise and trucks. Just find somewhere else.

To whom it may concern,

I strongly object to this application and am still bewildered by the original decision of the PAC who pre-approved this monstrosity before public comments were even taken!! This is an existing residential area with another housing development under way very close as well, so it defies logic and common sense to even consider this area for such a venture.

How many chances does this company get to try to destroy my community? It's time the community were treated with basic respect and as human beings who deserve the right to raise our families in a safe, pollution free environment. How can this company be handed the right to put my family's lives at risk for the sake of profit.

I object strongly to this ludicrous application and to the original proposal. I pray that common sense prevails and this is thrown out as it truly deserves to be.

Regards

Please consider that where Moorebank Recyclers are planning to have their plant in right in the centre of people's homes, schools, parks. Moorebank and Georges Fair is home to 90% of young families with children aging from newborns to school children as well as many elderly. To have this (the recycling plant) in a place that belongs in an industrial area not a suburbian is out of place and will create pollution of all sorts.

To whom it might concern

Im writing to express my opposition in regards of this moorebank recycling plant.Im a resident of georges fair that recently build my house, and yes we are working really hard to have this house for our family, and yet this concrete recycle that will bring lot of negative side for our kids.
Issues with Proposed Moorebank Recycling Plant: Concrete and Building Material CRUSHING:

* Health Hazards - Dust, chemicals in building materials, NO GUARANTEE that ASBESTOS won't enter the site.
* Noise Pollution
* Congested Traffic - specially in Brickmakers Drive and Nuwarra Road at 7.15am every morning and 5pm every afternoon, and yet the recycle has not been done, what will happened if its done?

Moving on from this, the biggest issue I have is with Building a Plant a mere 150m away from my residential homes is something that I cant imagine happening in Australia. all residents of Georges Fair are Tax Payers, we are all Australians, we have a say,we work hard to have a better life and paid tax for every dollar that we earn, additionally with the life of my mortgage we will have paid over a million dollars for our house.I think I have paid for my right to express our objection together with other fellow residents.

I am not against recycling, 10 years ago, this plant might have been perfect in that position but fast forward 10 years we now have thousands of Dwellings, it is a community, it is a Suburb. Human beings live here. It's a young vibrant community, parks for the thousands and Kids who reside there. However 350 Trucks per day will create worrying stage for kids to play around the estate.

Importantly I think Marina would be a great investment for the suburb it self and government to create more jobs, more tourist attractiveness, and support improvement for transport, and no ASBESTOS around the air that will influence our kids's health.

Please do consider this.

I object to this application. The recycling plant is completely incompatible with its surroundings and this extension will provide more time and options for a facility which should be relocated altogether.

I am continually amazed at the total disregard the Department of Planning, the Minister and Concrete Recyclers have for the Georges Fair, and wider Moorebank community. To effectively try to sneak through a 5 year consent period is utterly disgraceful! I'm still flabbergasted that this project received approval, considering that no one besides the Department, Minister Stokes and Concrete Recyclers want it here, less than 300 metres from people's homes! Sticking a concrete crushing plant smack bang in what is now a burgeoning residential community makes absolutely no sense. To now look to extend the consent period for 5 years is just another slap in the face of our community. If this horrid thing is going to be built in my backyard, endangering the lives of my two young children, we want it done within normal consent periods and conditions. Absolutely no extension should be granted to this project. Our community will continue to fight this project on all fronts for as long as it takes!

On top of the absolutely disgraceful decision to approve such a site smack bang in the middle of 3 brand new residential communities the continual changes to the application and the manner in which they are informed to the community is and absolute disgrace. The local community do not wants this site and they are sick and tired of the changes and delays. Why doesn't common sense prevail here and the site just be declined. Families have spent millions on making the area a upper class residential location and this is going to be ruined by a procession of endless trucks on a road which was previously zoned to not allow them and a massive dust pile on the shore of a river which we are trying to turn into a luxury boat marina. Common sense must prevail here.

I strongly object to this request. Having the recycling plant in Moorebank is hazardous to the community's health, cause traffic, damage the river and cause excess noise.

As Sydney expands, residential property is pushed further and further out of the average person financial reach. the property sold for residential development at the Georges Fair area was marketed as a communal living environment near a river, not as an industrial area. The parcel of land proposed to be the concrete recycling plant can be easily rezoned as a residential allotment. This will ensure the population of greater Sydney is able to purchase affordable homes.

The development of these affordable homes will generate a wealth of jobs. And the allotment of retail facilities like cafes and grocery stores will ensure ongoing sustainable employment opportunities are provided to the surrounding communities.

In the last few years the surrounding area to this proposal has changed from a quarry pit to a flowering residential community. I sincerely ask that you do not destroy this community by approving the request to build a recycling plant, but provide the community and its surrounding s with opportunities to grow and flourish.

Extension SHOULD NOT be allowed as this contradicts with the purpose of making the land an Environment Protected area in the long term. This sensitive land is bounded by Georges River on the east, residential areas on the west and south and planned marina on the north. Thus this Contruction & Demolition Waste Facility is TOTALLY not in line with the VISION of our local council. This sneaky application to extend the date is the proponent's obvious method of hoodwinking the blind Authorities (EPA, DPE, Baird government) which are not considering the community's health and livelihood. Shame on all of you!
