The state will benefit from the royalties of resource mined and my continued tax contribution and the many community organisations that benefit from the Bloomfield Group Foundation. Should this not continue I’m not sure what my future holds as I’ve built my skill set around mining, it’s what I do it’s who I am.
Thank you for taking the time to review my submission.

I also witnessed first-hand the ongoing efforts toward rehabilitating disturbed mining land and the great results that have been achieved. The proposed modifications would lead to beneficial changes in the currently approved post-mining landscape by reducing the size of the final void and decreasing the angles of rehabilitated slopes, which will enhance the land's suitability for cattle grazing, which is the agreed final land use.

Employment benefits / economic benefits-
The Bloomfield mine has provided my family and myself with stability, job security through tough times and opportunities for professional development.
The mine supports hundreds of jobs directly and many more indirectly through local businesses and service providers and plays a critical role in the sustaining the local economy
Community-
Bloomfield mine actively supports the local community, contributes to local events, sponsorships and programmes which is a crucial part of the significance the mine has in the community
Mining activity-
The Bloomfield mine is a small scale operation which is designed to have very minimal impact on the community and surrounding environment, it has been developed with careful consideration to planning and design which ensures it’s outstanding reputation is maintained

Importantly, this modification will continue to support employment and deliver economic benefits to the local community and the state. Bloomfield is a good corporate citizen, enjoys the support of the local community and the respect of the region more broadly.
