Mod 4 - Extend Trial

Keep Falls and Splendour at Byron Bay Parklands.

I think the ability to continue events at such an incredible site is crucial for our community and the tourist industry that supports the region.

Please keep music festivals at the parklands

As a local resident I support extension of trial period. The events brings revenue to the local economy & I have not been inconvenienced or had my lifestyle impacted negatively by the events held at the site.

I support this application - working within the events field, Falls and Splendour provide countless job opportunities, not just at the event but obviously in the lead up to and post event. It provides local economic benefits through increased visitation, use of local suppliers etc. Festivals such as Falls and Splendour need to be in existence to support creative industries and provide platforms for new and well established, local and international artists to show their work. With decreasing live music venues all over, younger and future generations need festivals to be exposed to live music and international artists. I sincerely hope that the application is approved and Falls and Splendour continue for many years to come.

I have property myself in Bangalow and as a future resident in the Byron Shire I see this as such a positive event to create jobs and support local business. The economic benefits & social value of festivals to continue supporting the creative industries in the area, is a must. The years to make this venue to the high standard it is today, should be congratulated to all involved, what a waste for it not to continue.

I believe it is vital that Byron Bay Parklands continues to operate as the world class live music and event venue it has become. It contributes significantly to our community in terms of culturem jobs and the economy.

I support Splendour in the Grass wholeheartedly and know they run a very well organised event and would like to see them have extended the time on the North Parklands site. Fully support them.

This event supports, jobs, local business, economic benefits, social value of festivals, successful events, supporting the creative industries.

I work at the event and have been to every festival since it's inception. We love Splendour.

The music festival scene in Australia is dying - don't kill off two of the best festivals we have to offer.

Parklands provides the perfect venue for both events.

I think this event is an outstanding advertisement for the area for tourism which brings in so much revenue for the general and greater outer areas we would be lost without this annual event!

Splendour and Falls are 2 of the best local social outlets for kids and adults alike in our area. The impact is low compared to the benefits for Festival goers, and local business' alike. It's a huge money raiser for the community. Both festivals are very generous with the local community - always donating raffle prizes for the annual fundraisers. The entire community will suffer if this license is not granted and these festivals cannot take place.
