The NSW Government is building a faster, simpler planning system to support jobs, homes and open space.
As part of the Planning Reform Action Plan, we are proposing to speed up the process for changing planning rules on a particular piece of land – known as rezoning.
The department has prepared a discussion paper that sets out proposed solutions to how we can create a better rezoning process and appeals or review framework. The discussion paper includes specific questions we are seeking feedback on. These questions are also set out in a survey below. If you complete a survey, it will count as a submission.
