Before you begin
The Priority Assessment Program focuses on high value public sector or private sector projects with the potential to deliver a strong pipeline of investment, public benefit, growth and jobs over the medium term and continue to support our State’s economic recovery.
Projects that will be considered for case management in the Program:
Local development applications (DAs) will not be considered for the Priority Assessment Program. This includes proposals such as:
- decks, verandas and pergolas
- garages, car ports and sheds
- home renovations/extensions/additions/demolition
- swimming pools, spas and boundary fences
Please refer to our Renovator’s Checklist or contact your local council to pursue this type of development.
If a project is chosen for the program, the department will work with the proponent to agree on timeframes assessment pathways and outcomes. Inclusion in the program does not pre-determine the assessment outcome.
