Updates to the Government property index data
The data in GPI was last updated on 12 October 2022. The NSW Government is currently reviewing the frequency of updating the data in GPI, and your patience is appreciated while we work through this review.
Government Property Index
The NSW Government has developed a new online tool called the Government Property Index.
The tool is a new open data portal that will increase transparency of the State’s property portfolio and encourages private investment on public land to deliver better community outcomes.
The Government Property Index covers all NSW Government-owned properties across NSW, excluding those owned by State Owned Corporations and those that are ‘sensitive’ (for example, for safety, security or individual privacy reasons).
On a ‘best endeavours’ basis, the portal provides basic information (Lot/Section/Plan, address, area, zoning and Local Government Area) on NSW Government owned properties across NSW.
