The Department of Planning and Environment has developed a digital service in relation to State Voluntary Planning Agreements (SVPA). This new digital service enables developers and relevant parties to lodge and track a SVPA application with the Department online via the NSW Planning Portal.
The service will ensure faster approval times and provide greater transparency for all stakeholders. It will also encourage flexibility and innovation in infrastructure so that the whole community can benefit from proposed developments.
Using the SVPA digital service
Prior to using the SVPA digital service, new users will be required to register for a NSW Planning Portal account. Users with existing SVPAs or SVPA applications will need to contact the Department of Planning and Environment to have them linked to their accounts.
Once registered and linked to any existing SVPA applications, users will be able to log on to their account to:
- Complete an online SVPA application,
- Track an existing SVPA request and/or;
- Respond to requests for additional information when required.
If you require any further help view the Quick Reference Guide.
SVPA Register
All SVPAs currently on notification, under consideration, executed or concluded are available to view on the SVPA Register.
