A BASIX certificate is not required where a development application is being made solely to subdivide land and does not involve approval to erect a dwelling.
Where a development application is made that seeks to both subdivide the land and to erect a dwelling, or group of dwellings, the application must be accompanied by one or more BASIX certificate(s) that cover the dwellings detailed in the application.
