The objective of the proposal is to replace the entire Uphill Line of the Guthega Carpark
Double Chair with a new and reliable cable in a conduit, while causing minimal impact to the
surrounding environment. The opportunity will also be taken to install an additional conduit in
the same trench for future provisions such as replacement of phone lines.
