Aurizon Port Facility Storage Changes and Increases

Newcastle

Expansion of existing operations to include external storage and handling of containerised cement of up to 85,000 tonnes per annum as well as an increase in the maximum internal storage and handling capacity of the site for zinc, copper and lead concentrates and the introduction of mineral sands, from 70,000 tonnes to 130,000 tonnes at any one time. These increases are associated with an increase in vehicle, train and shipping movements.
