DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING INDUSTRY AND ENVIRONMENT

Council is publicly exhibiting a Planning Proposal (PP) to amend clause 6.2 Flood planning of the Burwood Local Environmental Plan (BLEP) 2012 to identify flood affected land. The purpose of this is to apply controls and engineering solutions so that development on land is compatible with the land’s flood affectation.

The Planning Proposal and supporting documentation are on exhibition from Friday 31 July 2020 to Friday 28 August 2020. Anyone can make a submission online at the Planning Portal by 5.00pm on 28 August 2020.

The Minister for Planning and Public Spaces has delegated the making of the Burwood Local Environmental Plan amendment to Council.
