Development Control Plans

At the Council Meeting held on 3 December 2024, Council resolved to approve amendments to the following development control plans:

o Residential Development Control Plan
o Business Centres Development Control Plan
o Open Space and Infrastructure Development Control Plan

The changes include:

1. Introducing measures to treat stormwater quality on-site before stormwater enters Sydney Harbour, waterways, bushland and drainage systems. This will apply to any development involving three or more dwellings or any non-residential development (excluding development contained within the existing building envelope), and
2. Introducing Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure requirements for new residential, mixed use and non-residential developments.

The development control plans come into effect on 6 December 2024.
