Public Hearing for Reclassification of Public Land at Reynolds Road and The Driftway, Londonderry

Council recently exhibited a Planning Proposal that seeks to reclassify 7 parcels of HCC owned land from ‘Community’ to ‘Operational’ land at The Driftway and Reynolds Road Londonderry. Also, introduce a control to restrict development on these sites for new, renovated or intensified residential accommodation, to ensure a buffer is maintained between residential dwellings and HCC’s Waste Management Facility located north of the subject sites in Hawkesbury LGA.

The public hearing is due to take place on Wednesday 10 March 2021 between 7:00pm–8:00pm. In order to comply with COVID- 19 restrictions, the public hearing may be held either via an online meeting or at a Council venue.
