(2) The application indicates the removal of 7 trees. The architectural plan shows only those at the "southern development" site - two trees. The others are?
(3) The stated uses for this development are for the Sydney Swans plus a hazy reference to public usage. Please indicate clearly and transparently exactly what access will be available to the general public (owners of this land) and when and how.

The swimming pool is not open to the public at Sydney Cricket Ground and the swimming pool within this development will also not be open to the public.
Considering this is is zoned as Public Space it seems the entire development will not be opened to the public except those elite athletes of sporting clubs.
Thanks

In addition I believe it would have a negative impact on Sydneys bid to host World Pride
in 2023. These events are not only signicant to the gay community in Sydney but the gay communty Australia wide and the general community all over NSW and in particular Sydney.
The loss of this large scale venue restricts the future potential for hosting significant and unique events in Sydney for benifit of all the community.
The contruction of new buildings to the east and south east corner of the RHI pavilion to house other training facilties for the Sydney Swifts and an internal pool and hydro therapy pool, represents an over development of the site and will have a negative impact on the architectural character of this magnificent and unique large scale pavilion style building. These new buildings will destroy the pavilion style perpective of the RHI.
At a time when the completion of the new light rail sytem , which runs right past the RHI,
is imminent, it seems a poor decision to loose this large scale venue.
I note in the proposal documents there is reference to the under utilization of the RHI, quoting 93 days of use. Yet I note that in the same document is states that the redesigned building with a much smaller area available for use will be available to the general commuty use for around 240 days. This suggests the proposed utilisation by the sporting organisation is also around 90 days no more than current utilsation of the current RHI. In addition most large capacity venues and indeed many sporting venues would onlly be utilised around 90 to 100 days per year.
There are other options for the provision of the facilties for administration and training for these sporting organisation but most certainly there is no feasible option to replace the the loss of the RHI for large scale events.
