Mount Arthur Coal 090062 MOD1
I mark peel object to the modification ,my reasons set out below.
I am not satisfied because I have 2 properties on Roxburgh rd no,s 238 where I live & 225 -222 which goes down to the Hunter riverthis property joins 226 ,that has been included for acquisition, in the last modification. My property 225-222 classed as Vacant Land Assessment, has the same noise, dust, blasting & lighting contour line as 226, .My property 225-222 was not accessed in the proposed modification at all, I have been through all the literature , & feel my property should be in the acquisition area.
With the big increase of top soil & coal extraction , the mine says no increase in dust ,noise & all pollutants, this can,t be ri
ght.
The visual site from 225-222 is 100 percent,my family intend to put a house on this property, & visual from 238 will increase 20 percent in the proposed modification.
The house already shakes from blasting at Mount Arthur, this modification brings the mine closer to my properties. The winds through summer are in a east-south -east direction, which will carry the dust & fumes over my property ,the drinking water is already un safe to drink.
They have not included Bengalla in the cumulative impacts, EPA monitors in Muswellbrook are already going over , how can the mine tell me there will be no extra pollution.Going through the modelling I find the figures are all taken from 2009 modification.
I Mark Peel would like Planning of Infrastructure representive to visit my property, & see the impacts the mining is having on us.
